It's more simple than that, every club in England hated United for 30 years and even more, and now everybody ganged up in last 10 years because the horrendous owners were simply looting the club revenue, not putting any care or effort in appointing people who want to run it properly after David Gill and Fergie left, only people running the club were those who never questioned Glazers sucking money out, letting the infrastructure and setup fall behind and rot. Others just had to cash in on the opportunity of a fallen giant

City without Rodri and DeBruyne struggled to play to the same level they normally do. It's not rocket science that if your best players are injured the level will drop. Difference is when City drop their levels they are about matching Liverpool / Arsenal, when Utd drop their levels they come into line with the mid table teams.

I don’t know whether to believe this or not. If it’s true I’d be gutted. Despite this being our worst season (statistically) for a very long time, this is the most positive I’ve been about the club’s future since Fergie retired. Yes we’ve had better league finishes before, but it always felt like our squad was 3 or 4 years behind and anyone coming in would need that much time to turn the ship around. It would probably need to get worse before it got better and United may have to drop out of the European places if that’s what it took for the greater good. That was the view of the so called experts. And here we are. Ten Hag and the club have begun that process and are definitely going in the right direction. Another transfer window to get rid of the remnants of old, bring a few more hungry players in and we are without question in a much better position to make a challenge next season. We must stick with this manager or we will set ourselves back another couple of years with no guarantee of even getting back to where we are now.

Why should they? Football is a business, you know. Shrewd businessmen would only invest in a venture if they believe based on evidence that a profit is guaranteed. In the case of Man Utd, what proof do they have from this season that Erik ten Hag will correct the many issues of the side and compete to win the league in the following seasons? He isn't trusted enough and there are lingering doubts hence why they can't come out to announce he'll be head coach for the following season. Even if he is retained for the following season, which is a possibility, INEOS will be doing it on a wait-and-see basis amongst other reasons, so it'll likely be an extended audition to for the job.

I dont believe it Ste, I've said for weeks on your videos that everything that INEOS has done so far has been on stealth mode, no leaks came out, so I dont that of all the people connected to this club all of a sudden Di Marzio is breaking something that has not leaked but only to him? Additionally, I do not think INEOS have informed Ten Hag anything before the cup final as they dont want to disrupt any chance or preparation for this game (which can also gain European football for us). I dont think Di Marzio knows the truth IMO

Which of the managers that are currently out of work and available would definitely be an upgrade on ETH? Potentailly they could all do a worse job than the current manager. Surely it makes sense to use the summer window effectively, give ETH till Xmas to show what he can do with a fully fit squad made up of his players and then make a decision? Haven't we got quite an important game on Saturday? Shouldn't we be focusing on that? What, exactly, is going on?

Francesco at NiCE used to be a coach under DeZebri from 2017-2022 so might have logic if Ineos looking for some consistent philosoph/synergies from both clubs. Dont think Ten Hag will come good as too many red flags with his stubborness n tactical setups, successful United sides alway been about quick pass n move with tricky skillful forwards.

@@jaserogers997 Erik is not a fraud and United is not dead. We don't know how Jim Ratcliffes ownership will play out. We're walking forward blind this summer. We knew what we were dealing with when it comes to the Glazers, we've had 15+ years of proof (19? Was the take over 2005?) With Jim we don't know how anything will work out because it will take a year to see if we look smarter/better run or more of the same. Erik is not a fraud. Moyes failed. Louis failed. Mourinho failed. And Ole failed. Ever consider United is the problem?

No, Onana plays in goal. Do you mean trusting Rashford to lead in scoring goals? No, that was last season (managed 40 goal contributions). Hojlund was trusted as the lead striker to score goals this season (managed 18 goal contributions).

@@GordyB666 Onana made the most saves out of any goalkeeper in the league… Swear you man will blame everyone but the manager for why we are so shit week in week out, also bare in mind Rashford plays his best football when we have a proper number 9, not Hojlund who is far from a proper number 9, the fact he can’t even hold his trousers up let alone hold the ball up, doesn’t help matters. Also the fact he didn’t give Amad any starts all year until the last two games and look how well he played… ETH hasn’t got a clue, either he can’t coach the players he’s got and brought or they don’t listen to him, either way, he’s not the manager for the job simple as that

CIty should be relegated to league 2 or something, something like that would hit much harder then a one seasons points deduction or any fine. Not only would that affect their ambitions it will be something that tarnishes their reputation as a team forever. As for the league taking a hit I think it will be really bad but I also kind of think the league might be better for it if it has a bit more economic parity with the rest of Europe. Maybe this is what the league actually needs to evolve.

Hopefully this fires them up! Honestly dont buy it for one second! I honestly believe if we were gonna sack him we would have done so as soon as the champions League was not mathematically possible. You give him till December then decide if you are extending his contract. If not you have half the season to find the perfect replacement.
