I use the monthly planner as my only planner. I am retired and don’t have a lot to keep up with. Plus, I need space to make menus, agendas, packing list, and notes on various interest.. Some months have a lot, others very little.

I would use this as a home management planner! I’m going through the process of SERIOUSLY Decluttering my home & it would be awesome to use this to have a focus or goal for every month and list everything that needs to get done. I don’t need another planner but I think I need this 😂😂 thanks for always making awesome detailed videos!

I use a monthly planner (not an EC) as my main planner. I used to bullet journal, but missed the convenience of having my months set up, year at a glance, holidays, etc. Now, I have all that, but I can still make my own weekly spreads.

I’m using the 7 x 9 as a work bullet journal right now bc the months are set up but there are the great blank pages for to do’s and notes. Thank you Amanda!!!

I would use mine as a book planner. I could keep track of the books I read on the monthly calendar. On the notebook pages, I could write book reviews, record reading challenges, keep notes about certain books, etc. Thanks for sharing the monthly planner!

I used it as a memory planner n loved it. I used the lined sheets to highlight an event and the monthly calendar with highlights. I'm going back to that for 2023 because my planning has changed.

Hi, I decided on a 7×9 monthly (with 40 extra pages in the notes section) for 2023. 😁 It gives me the option of making each page after the dashboard into different topics. Such as, one page will be finances/spending tracker, one page will be meal planning, one page will be household projects/chores, etc. My 2021 planner is the 8×10 horizontal lifeplanner & I use the daily sections for Journaling. It is serving me well but I realized I need more space for Journaling so I will buy a separate journal for writing. I'm super excited about planning because it's changed my life so much! Thank you so much for your videos! They have really helped me a lot!

I use a monthly only planner for bills/budget, and one for keeping track of the kids rent. I use a cheapy one for the rent. But the EC for bills. It’s perfect.

I LOVE your videos❤️ and I was loking forwad the bigger sice planner. I'm a teacher and I use the month view to follow the classes routine. Units and exams in a glanze. As you explain there are a lot of space un each square. I use the extra pages for meetings, or planning the exams or units. Thanks for sharing!!🙌🏼🙌🏼

Monthly planners are great work planners. The yearly/ monthly spread in the beginning of the planners I use to highlight paydays in green and work nights in pink. I’m a night shift nurse. I use the actual monthly speeds to write in my schedule for work and personal appointments. I then conform my wall calendar to these schedules when I get home. The note pages I use to document meals (recipes, ingredients, ways to make them better), exercise (keeps me accountable), and to journal if anything big happens or if anything ticks me off. It helps me put into perspective if I want to stay with that department or if it is time to move on to get a different experience.

I plan to purchase a monthly planner as an addition to my work daily duo. I will use the monthly calendar part for team member out of the office times, team project deadlines and team/dept meetings. The notes pages will be for our weekly team meetings.

I’ve used this planner since 2020 for my budget book. I lay it out in a by-the-paycheck format with one blank page per week and list all the bills that paycheck needs to pay. I write the daily expenses on the month view then transfer the information into the categories I have for each week’s page. It’s a simple format and really all I need. All I need to know is what this week’s paycheck needs to cover and do I have enough money to cover it all. It is probably the first time I’ve stuck with a system for so long. A budgeting person on YT is where I got the idea from (can’t remember who) I’ve tweaked it for my own system but she is the person who gave me the jumpstart on the idea.

Oh I need to buy it! I bought EC Monthly planners before, have used them for various reasons, but this time, I will use it as my teacher planner. The EC teacher planner is too much for me, I don’t need as much detailed, so I will try the EC Monthly planner for my teaching this year. I think it will be perfect for that! And I never bought the 8,5 x 11 before, always had the 7 x 9, so I’ll try the bigger one. Thanks for this video again, Amanda!

I use an EC monthly petite planner as my budget planner. I put the bill due date and my paycheck amounts in the calendar view. On the side, I list the total amount of bills per paycheck. This helps me plan how much I can put toward my sinking sinks (or debt).

I use the EC monthly planner as my teacher planner. I prefer to see an overview of the month and just use the stickers from the planner to identify assignment due dates. All of my essential questions, objectives, and activities are listed on the lined pages behind the monthly calendar.

Oh, that would be so versatile! But I don't have any information on inserts for monthly. They were listed on my email with information about this box. I guess we will find out for sure with launch on June 7th.

Enjoyed your review as always :-) I got a monthly in the sale to try and am loving it - use it for professional development/learning/career reflection plus some health tracking. I was so excited to get one next year in colorblends . . . Gutted they're not offering it. Are there other companies that do similar?

Unfortunately the information I have is they aren't offering the colorblends in the coiled monthly:( I am sorry! Off the top of my head I can't think of another planner offered like this. That is crazy! Maybe someone else will read this and know of one and chime in. You could build your own planner like with with a discbound or ring system. But that's all I can think of for now.

Hi Amanda, is there any chance you could see about the difference in the number of lines on each of the lined pages in the 7x9 versus the 8.5 x 11? I am planning to use this planner as a monthly spending/checkbook register. I would prefer the smaller size, but wondering if I would need the larger size due to the number of lines to use for each expense/deposit. Thank you!

I’ve considered using this as my homeschool planner since I only plan a day ahead of time. So I would just write the stuff for that day down and then after I’m finished it draw a line and write in the stuff that I plan to do tomorrow. Does that make sense?

You mean a monthly only planner Jan-Dec ? They do have that on a coil. If you mean the a5 monthly petite planner they don't' have that in 12 month.

I swear by a monthly planner for school, it gets distracting trying to look at a weekly and jot down the assessments. I also use it for budgeting and travel planning🏖.

Amanda, you know I LOVE your videos. I don't know if you want to know this, but the audio in this one seems off, like a bit too high for the microphone or something? Obviously I still watched this and it almost (almost) made me want to get an EC planner of some kind for the 2022-2023 year (though I'm really thinking of skipping this year, for the first time in 8 years).

Thanks Rebecca for always being honest with me. We already chatted in DM's:) But for anyone else reading this I love if you tell me things like this in case I didn't notice it. My mic sound was totally off because I was trying a new USB hook up cord and it didn't work right. I should have put something in the video when editing to let everyone know- but it slipped my mind as this one was a fast edit. I did add this to the description now:) And that is funny about it making you want to get an EC...almost! That is big to skip for the first time in 8 years!

You should have put the A5 on top of the 7"x9" on top of the 8.5"x11". Then seen all three sizes together. Even though they do not sell this in the A5 size.

For almost 2x the cost of the neoprene folio, this one is not worth it. Too flimsy for one. And having items falling out when opening is a deal breaker for me. Looks like it should be ½ the price.

I personally like to fold my planner back on itself so the neoprene always win for me. But I know many people who have bought these in the 7x9 and hear they love them. But good points;)
