She’s amazing!!! Need more teachers like her 💚🙏🏽

I love this Graduation speech by Erin. I was emotional watching it thinking it will one day be me. I loved how she said "if you are the 1st in your family to graduate college, please stand up. Stand up for something that is bigger than you. Be bold. Be brave. " I met Erin and was fortunate to have her sign my Freedom Writers book and DVD. She is genuinely sweet and inspiring. She told me to continue my education and make a difference in others lives especially those dreamers who live in poverty just as I once did. I told her I was going back to school but stopped. This was in 2012. I finally went back in 2014 and finally finished 2 weeks ago on December 15, 2018. Thank you Erin for your words of inspiration.

I wished I'd had a teacher like this woman

Erin, you're such an amazing human being. I'm a teacher like you and you truly inspired me and the rest of the whole world, for that matter. Your love for these students went far beyond words. You exude love for humanity, the kind of love that's not expressed merely by words but you've shown your love, care & compassion to those 150 students by your actions. And indeed, your work has reached its fruition and continues to do so. You've got a legacy in this world just like you've given those kids voices to make a difference in their lives and in the world. Keep doing the good you're doing. God bless you! We love you!
