Erin Fleming was the 'girl friend' that dominated Groucho Marx's life in his final years. A wannabe actress, she makes a brief appearance in this 6th season episode of Adam-12 (air date: October 10, 1973)

I was 7 years old when the first episode of Adam-12 came out. From that night on, I knew with certainty what I wanted to do when I grew up. I was a police officer for 30 years.

Thank you for picking out a decent profession for us all, we need more, not less of people like you. I hope the most traumatic thing you had to do was arrest a pumpkin driving without a license. My guess is not though. Not all could pull off an entire 30 years of the work you did. Social... law... danger thrown in... sudden occurrences. I couldn't have done it even knowing that I had a team there with us helping each other. Thank you again.

@@willoughby1888 “ Fewer people” as people is a collective countable noun like “ cattle”. Uncountables are generally indefinite quantitative determiners and immeasurable quantities like happiness or concepts like money. It’s dollars that are countable not the concept of money. They use “ less” such as “ less money”. All in a day’s work for Super Grammar Nazi who, by the way, taught this in university for the greater part of 30 years and written over a dozen books on it. Trust me.

FUN FACT: Stephen J. Cannell got his start writing scripts for Adam-12. He would later go on to create or co-create such iconic TV shows like The Rockford Files, Baretta, The A-Team, and Hunter.
