Guinea Pig Home Tour | March 2020
Today's video is a guinea pig aviary tour, featuring my herd of 12 outdoor guinea pigs (11 females and one neutered male). The aviary has been home built to fit inside the stable. Most of the enrichment inside is items we have found around our smallholding. The hutch was also custom built for the guinea pigs.

I had a guinea pig room many years ago and mine had several floors for my piggy's to play around on. There were tunnels and stairs joining all floors with a gentle slide from top floor to the ground, was mostly used when it was feeding time. lol. I do miss having guinea pigs, maybe I should start again.

Hello! I am new to your channel. I first saw you on your video "Meet my Pig's" The comments were turned off but, I wanted to tell you that your guinea pig's are big! That is a very good thing! Look how tame they are in your hands!! They really like you!!! I love your set up. I wish i could put mine outside but im afraid bec the heat can get up to 90 outside esp. In a housing unit. Very lucky piggies...😁💕

Your Guinea pig arrangement is goals! I bet those piggies are so happy to live in such a big heard with so much open space! Can I ask a question? My piggy has been having soft poops, quite small and with a point, kind of drop-shaped. What should I do? (I can't go to the vet because of the lock down and my vet told me to do nothing)

Do they have an outdoor enclosure?? We are in the process of changing our concrete shed into a new enclosure for our 4 guinea pigs. Last year we were putting them in a run on the front garden as our back garden is concrete

My friend had that kind of a shed and she just put a heater in there and make sure that the door i seeled :)

Guinea pigs have more problems with heat then with cold. Make sure they have a box like the one shown in the video which in winter keeps warm (fill it with straw e.g.), that the pigs have enough space to run and 24/7 acess to food an hay. Mine sometimes don't sleep in the "box" even if it's about -1°C ^^ (for the summer it's important they have shadow, shadow, shadow)

they are naturally skittish, so move slowly and be patient with them.

Dont worry it's completely normal and depending on the piggy it can take them a while to warm up to you just try not to take them out of their cage too much and try hand feeding them it's a great way to bond with them. Hope this helps! :)
