Thank you, this man is working day and night to create conflict and introduce fabricated historical facts to establish a status of mistrust amongst the people. We need to live in harmony, we should learn from history but not repeat it. We need to start to trust one another and respect one another.

I believe Mr Beyene has modest, genuine and pure opinion about the subject because he showed no side on the historical events that happened long time a go. He also stressed his good feelings about his fellow Eritrean tribes (brothers and sisters). On the other hand Mr Bokhresion was anti fellow Eritrean tribes and he only cares about his fellow families in Tigray. I hope that he is not affecting other Eritreans.

Could you tell us what are your acceptance criteria to assess what is truthful ? History for sure is not about opinion but scientific assessment of pass events and its implication on structuring the present and the future. How would you define History?
@r-hgman3651 Жыл бұрын
@@zebib9761 Agametay is a name you and I share if you you know well your identity and history. Why are you trying to be fake when your ancestors are Tigrayans? If not then you are not.
@r-hgman3651 Жыл бұрын
@@user-ls9oh7wr8m What is fact and tangible are the things we share. The main things common to both communities are the criteria that acertain our oneness: language (not if you learnt it but have it from your parents as your mother language ), history and culture. Until the colonialists arrived all Tigrignia speakers were one and without any boundary between them. We were all Agazians, Axumites and Adollisians etc. When the colonists arrived they carved the land dividing it into two and giving a name of their own. That is why today I personally have half of my relatives in Tigray and the other in Eritrea. So don’t try to act smart asking for a scientific prove for our historical oneness. If you don’t want to recognise the relationship no one is forcing you. I am only pronouncing the simple and naked truth about the relationship between Tigrignia native speakers of the south and north of the Mereb river.
@user-ls9oh7wr8m Жыл бұрын
@@r-hgman3651 Well it seems that you are talking about the Tigrinya , and your family particular conditions. I do not see a problem to that: The Tigrinya of south mereb are also Tigrinya (they have hard time recognizing it though). But Tigray/Tigrean is quit a different concept. We are no more talking about the Tigrinya now , but about political entities existing beyond Mereb. Tigray as a geopolitical concept is of recent creation. It started by designating a small political entity around Adwa and morphed to its current form by absorbing other political entities such as Agame, Enderta, Tembien, …. The final touch was given by Woyane in their Manifesto. They redefined it pretty much elastic, in preparation of their “Abaye Tigray Project” and regional domination agenda. According to Woyane Book , Tigrean is not necessarily a Tigrinya speaker and Tigrean territory is not necessarily limited to what they had at that time. They took provision to expand in all direction anytime they deem it necessary. Eritrea was their major objective , even if they know that the political entity Mederi Bahri was never part of Tigray in the past and that the Tigrinya of Eritrea has never ever claimed to be Tigrean either. Of course during the Axumite period all the area including current Eritrea and Tigray and beyond was under Axumite authority. Axumite period is a common heritage to the people of the region without exception. But you need to acknowledge also that after the downfall of Axum it constituent went their way to form many many other autonomous political entities and that Mederi Bahri is one of them and probably the most important one. So « your oneness before the arrival of colonizers ….” Is just not all the truth. Concerning marriages, even now transborder arrangement are common, but It doesn’t define oneness either; So just recognize that the Tigrinya live both in Tigray and Eritrea and those in Tigray are Ethiopians and those in Eritrea are Eritreans, and move on. You, personally can choose who ever you want to be : Ethiopian , Eritrean , … . But refrain from dragging and assimilating the Tigrinya to your Tigray. Don’t disrespect them!

Etymology alone can't be history. It needs proof to be accepted as history. For example, you can see the names of "Gaze" in the victory status of King Ezana standing in Tgray. He claims he has conquered the land of Gaze...... So this contradicts with what Memhr Bokre has said.
