sorted that out after 20 hours of messin ,, need to bypass the hand brake for dvd.. ,,bought a bypass cable ,but no blue and white to connect. to. tried a live feed ,but no luck ?????

That's weird. On this one the Key wires are called "SW" for steering wheel. If your radio keeps forgetting it's memory, that might be related to the way that it has been wired in. Try swapping the red and yellow wires on the main loom

@@SaabUnleashed I fitted the Erisin to a VW Crafter van with no OEM steering wheel controls. So I bought after market controls and then found no key wires. Obviously Erisin assumes everyone to have OEM controls and so summarily decided to leave the wires out and therefore not give you the option to choose to use them or not. I thought this was extreme 'Penny Pinching. However the software was still there so I just added the two key wires myself. Thanks for the tip about changing the yellow and red wires, I will try that. Cheers.

It'll be difficult because theres loads of identical plugs with different wiring setups. You might find it'll be easier to just replace the head unit for a complete one

Yes, with the usual aftermarket fitting kit, although it will stick out a bit unless you cut the cage (which is part of the fitting kit, not your dashboard)

@@denilika1 you have a look through the settings to see if you can switch them on, but generally you need to supply 12v to the illumination wire, which should be labeled

Sounds like you have bad earth connection. Try and find a better solid clean bare metal ground.

@@johnbywater9840 Do you have an external amplifier and how have you connected the black ground wire from the back of the head unit? Things you can try. 1. Remove all rca connections from head unit going to amplifier. 2. Make sure open end wires and rca connectors coming out of head unit are not touching each other or anything metal on the car. Maybe tape the ends. 3. Remove anything that isn't necessary to power the unit besides the power/earth and speaker wires. 4. Run a temporary ground wire from head unit to battery outside the car just to test if it's poor grounding. 5. Turn on unit and listen for noise and if it's fixed follow on from step 5. 6. Add rca back and listen 7. Add other devices or components like gps antenna, radio antenna, usb connections etc to see if any of these are causing the ground loop. Ground loop noises are hard to fix or find, it's best to start from scratch and one item/wire at a time. But since it gets worse when you turn on the lights it's almost certainly a ground issue. Sometimes having other devices grounded at the exact same point can cause issues too. I hope you figure it out.

I fitted a heavy gauge earth wire and a ground loop isolator at the same time so as not to have to keep removing the unit, the following information was given with the ground loop isolator. Car is not activated when the car sound no noise, the car starts after the car sound noise, this phenomenon is mostly due to car electrical appliances on the car audio power interference caused by the installation of power filters can eliminate these noise. This is purely down to your own opinion. I mention in most of my reviews that Andorid Auto/CarPlay that the apps are streaming from the phone and that you are only limited by the speed of the actual phone itself, which are generally very fact. The thing is, Android Auto and CarPlay offer watered down versions of all apps, and most are simply not available. High end Android head units are very fast and negate the need for streaming apps
