I am from Eritrea, currently living in Diaspora. Eritrean are hardworking and welcome people, however the govn't has banned so many things like internet. However, I recommend you all to visit Eritrea if you want to exprience new life and remind your childhood time.

I went to this country in 2006 when I was 15 years. My first foreign country and it blew me. We went in May and the weather was absolutely unpredictable. Was in the capital Asmara and it has hardly changed in 20 years! Also went to coastal town of Massawa which is on Red Sea and the beach becomes completely empty by dusk.

I have started visiting my country every year on summer for 5 weeks to see my family, but mainly to detoxify myself from the internet and social media. You get relief from the negative news and stress. But, it doesn't always mean that there is no internet. There are internet cafes; people may use internet at work and / or colleges. Internet was introduced in Eritrea in around 2000, but it hasn't developed thanks to war with Ethiopia & UN embargo including the constant hostilities by the US & its allies. Once, all of these obstacles are gone, Eritrea will definitly be a paradise on earth.

Asmara is a beautiful city with the most amazing architecture anywhere in Africa. Hi mate I appreciate your videos But I suggest it would be better if you could talk about, their religion, profession, income, age group, language, climate, tourist destinations, some interactions with locals, banking. These would make the video more interesting and informative.

You can also live same life. Jail mein, no internet and no freedom there also. These people are living jn a prison. There are negatives of internet but I will want to be free any day rather than live in fear of government

@@pramod831 I am talking about figuratively. Although on surface they are free but they are controlled by the government in what they can see or read or do. It’s a dictatorship so they are not allowed to vote forget about criticizing the govt. they can’t even think for themselves as they see and hear only what the government wants them to see. Their is no free press. What you see are people doing only what the govt allows them to do.
