@aurora gusmeroli not only compared to the Italian acts, Soldi was trash in general. I was so disappointed it had the best rating for Italy the last few years. Most of the Italian entries are amazing.

The best rate of this song is given by the public. Look at the arena. No one moves. They respect the song. They didn´t used any of the resources of the stage, only light and voice. No chorus, firework or special effects. Only them. This song inspires respect, and they really went deep on us.

@@dkaf1000 absolutely nope for me, it's almost the only song that brought such an important topic at Eurovision that year....I agree that maybe "Occidentali's Karma" the year before maybe didn't deserve the top 5, but this surely did! If you only could understand well the Italian lyrics you'd really get how poetic the lyrics are. I'm not saying that other countries' songs were awful, but still...really if I hear you say that Fuego (which came 2nd!) and Toy (won) are better I swear I'm slashing someone with a pan.

Quand mon papa est décédé le soir de l'Eurovision 2017 je me suis jurée de plus regarder cette émission. Un soir de 2018, j ai mis la télé en fond... Je suis tombée sur cette chanson. Because they never send songs that fit Eurovision's audience. Eurovision is all about mainstream music and songs that everyone sings for 1 month and then forget for the rest of their lives because that's the taste of most people nowadays.

Obviously not in real time and not in one run because of the time zones, the fact that the entire thing happens before I get my hands on an footage and like it's not the same thrill since i cannot vote and my country is not out there competing but I still keep up, cause it's a very cool idea- and I get to listen to so many different songs and find out so many diff artists. Also had it not been for a lot of the performances, I wouldn't even be politically aware about some of the countries including Italy.

I preferred the old system, but if strongly favored English-speaking countries, which is why they stopped imposing mother tongues. They should return to those old rules, and add the 'all voices must be performed live' and 'live orchestra' as well. Not because of nostalgia, but because I genuinely believe the quality of the music would improve.

When they were giving the juries I was shocked. I was expecting them doing kinda well with the juries and worse with the audience since it was in italian and it's not a typical eurovision song. Alser The tension I got during the points of the televote was freaking real. Italian twitter users are very glad that people got the message of the song. We got 5th overall. But actually I only read positive things just because televote gave us the 3rd position. Thanks again 😊

I've seen it live in Lisbon back in the day and this message still gives me goosebumps even if they didn't win. Non mi avetto fatto niente is probably one of the most hidden gems that Eurovision has in their history and I hope to see them again in Torino to make justice to all these italian songs that were shown up to us, like Soldi (2019), Fai Rumore (2020), Occidentali's Karma (2017) and L'essenciale (2013) among others!

I can't believe that Italy got so few points from the Jury when they are 3rd at televotes... This song could have won. Even better, this song should have won, it's so beautiful and emotional and significant when you know that at the same time there was an new attack in Paris... So much love Italy from Francia

I agree Melicie Italy would certainly have won, but perhaps it would have been an unpleasant result. It is only displeasing that preventing Italy's victory has been prevented from spreading a strong and necessary message for this continent. FN No. We love Italian music since ever. Your culture I'd say. Italy's entry made a huge impression in the Albanian public two years ago with those three guys who had nothing to do with Albania as well.
