The Cathedrals were one of the greatest of all time and arguably the best. But, Ernie and SS are one of the freshest new sounds in gospel music today, and their comical, loud suits, wild shoes and crazy hair may just reach someone for the Lord that a straight laced group just can't reach. I'll let GOD be the judge and in the time I have left on this earth, KEEP ON SINGING BROTHERS!

The bible says to make a joyful noise unto the Lord. I have no doubt that their "noise" is made to the Lord. There is nothing that says christians can't have fun or excel at what they do. They have great talent, wonderful harmonies, and excellent technique. They inspire people to love gospel music. Hou could that ever be wrong. They are telling the right message of Christ. Different can be really good and in this case it is in my opinion.

I particularly love this song because it applies to me. He recently made a change in me over the past month and I feel brand new! Praise God!

My choir sings this song, and it is the church's favorite to hear... I'm so happy to see it here!

I love these guys! So much energy and charm. They love the Lord and it shows. Tim is a great bass singer. All of them have nice voices. I thank God for this wonderful group.

I was at this filming in Paducah, Ky. It was the most fun I ever had in 3 hours. I even made the cut and got on the video in an audience shot. WOOO HOO

Agree. When I went to hear this group right after they started, he impressed me most. That is unusual since the baritone is more silent in recognition. He is a great talent.

yes the original singer was the cathedrals, but i agree with stevemessy that L5 has the absolute best version of this i have ever heard.

These guys are both GREAT SINGERS and make GREAT PERFORMANCE - PRAISE THE LORD! Why should the devil have all the good perfomance?...and the bassinger looks a lot like a young Sean Connery (James Bond)

Yes, I think the Cathedrals did it. I had the music at one time, but forgot who rote it. I think Ernie sang for the Cathedrals for a time.

@michellelovescena nobody has really said anything as to why he left. his replacement is Devin McGlamery, formerly of Karen Peck and New River. Ryan has an awesome voice and it kind of sucks that he left; but from what I've heard of Devin, he's pretty good too. Ryan has since gone solo and released a CD.

hehe... my vote is still for George Younce! As far as I am concerned he was the man of bass! :D But, things change and this dude (don't know his name) has big shoes to fill, and I am sure he will fill them eventually! He has many years to go!

it's kind of hard to record a video when u don't a video camera. and my comp isn't letting me upload vids. i don't know what the problem is, but i gave like a 30 second vid about 2 and a half hours to upload, and it didn't. i'm not sure what's going on, but i'll get a vid up as soon as i can.

actually L5 has a somewhat improved version of this from the cathedrals. it's all personal preference i guess. but L5 sound better

One question...did not David dance before the Lord? And those that tap their feet, clap their hands, and twist a little in the pews while singing in church are also "hip-shaking sinners" I suppose? Please, judge not lest ye be judged..these gentlemen are praising the Lord, and if it's not your style fine...but do not speak against things that you know nothing of. I have never seen them do anything against the Lord or His word. But they certainly uplift it. Just an old sinner's opinion though.

well according to my opinion, Jerry Falwell is the same as the rest of us...a sinner saved by grace. If that is the case, he cannot be blasphemed against. Only the Lord can be. I do believe the Bible says that pretty plain. Also, I am hoping you are keeping the whole "judge not lest ye be judged" part.

Tim's a good bass, but I also think Glenn Dustin of L5 can hold his own...

GRAVITY? im a sciene major, so dont even GO there. Gravity was in perfect working order, because they werent floating all over the palce like astronauts on the moon.
