Ernie Johnson mayo Hampton were the cream of the crop with chef nockahomer in 60 s 70 s he could call the play by play I remember listening to am radio at one pm in south side Savannah gabrwves or on the air with all the exsitement of Major league baseball 1967 it was love them braves Hank hit it big on that Aug 74 even and made history he was as good as they get in 1970 I rember riding in down town Atlanta ga passing Atlanta stadium it was big and so cool seeing fly Delta airlines on board what a good feeling those days were

Ernie Johnson just put into words exactly why Hank Aaron is my favorite baseball player of all time. It's not the homeruns, it's the class, the dignity, and the courage. Hank Aaron didn't just make baseball better, he made humanity better.

Seem alot of ball players over the years. Like all kids who loved the game I had my favorites and being from Georvia Mr. Aaron was certainly one. Fact is though, I loved the Reds...Rose, Bench, Perez... now, at age 61, if I had the chance to meet one and shake his hand....it'd be Mr. Aaron. What a man!
