Ku Bersuara translates to “I’m voicing out” ... this is a song abt abused and/or cheated women and Ernie is representing all the women whose been or currently in the situation trying to voice out... women empowerment 💪💪 the dress represent a cocoon which eventually turns into a butterfly (represents women being free) ... and yes I agree she looks a bit like morrisette Amon. She’s a vocal teacher from malaysia and she comes from a family of Singers, her uncle Anuar Zain and aunt Ziana Zain are also powerful Singers (you’d should check them out too) much love from your new singaporean subscriber 🙏😊

This is an annual national competition in Malaysia among singers (new and established singers mixed). ANUGERAH = Award JUARA =Champion LAGU = Song AJL34 So, AJL is a championship to select the best song of the year. Strangely, Ernie didnt win ANY award at all and that caused a huge uproar in Malaysia immediately afterwards as she clearly should have won at LEAST the Best Vocal category even if not winning the overall or 2nd or 3rd place . She's not entirely new in Malaysia, i think she started to become known about 3-4 years ago (?) after joining a duet competition and winning it. I think prior to that she was more into Vocal Coaching, she's a vocal teacher. Other singers in Malaysia sought her tutoring for their vocal improvement.

Hi! She's a well known Malaysian singer and vocal coach. This performance was during a best song competition, known as Anugerah Juara Lagu (AJL) amongst the established singers in Malaysia. Ku Bersuara is basically about voicing out against abuse and violence towards women. And you pronounced her name right!

This is a Music vs Music competition, where the best music is the winner along with 1st runner up, and 2nd runner up. Apart from that, there are also subsidiaries award for Best Vocal, Best Performance. Sadly she didnt even win anything. This is AJL- Music Championship Award, a yearly show where all singer in Malaysia working hard to get into this exclusive competition here in Malaysia

She is also a vocal coach. She had been already in the music industry more than 5 years. Recently, she just got recognized in Malaysia and other countries due to her vocal technic and high notes capability. This is her 2nd performance in AJL which is a song competition in Malaysia that takes place every year. Unfortunately, she did not win anything out from this performance.

The song is about abuse on women and children. Ku Bersuara means I'm voicing out.. basically she singing about her stand to speak out against abuse. The change of costume symbolizes her being free and that she fights back. I love the song and Ernie really puts up a superb performance. Maybe the world should be her playground and not Malaysia. Btw, I like your cats.
