Cure or Pale Iris?

I did not realize so many people didn't care for Pale Iris. That song was fucking sick haha. This one has pretty unique riffage and on par with their latest.

I have CURE on repeat. I love the groove of the song and a long with Jesse's vocals it blends really well together. The music video I find to be interesting. They did a really great job with the music videos not too simple and not too extravagant. I am excited for Erra's new album to drop.

Chorus is really odd and i like it

Not a typical erra chorus, still feels very ERRA-ish. I love Jesses high pitched typical choruses, but this mid-rangey chorus from jesse definitely sits just right!. LOVE the bendy riff, really made it more dynamic

i feel like it’s definitely a tease to what’s actually gonna be on the new album. i just want another “snowblood”-like track

Pretty cool track that feels chill like Drft but darker like something off the ST. That was a really cool chorus as well just think they could have added a little something extra in there to really blow me away.

I can't choose, it's _both_ Cure and Pale Iris for me. Cure just has that classic ERRA swagger, and Pale Iris is that oh-so-good new ERRA. Both are exceptional, as was the entire album

This album might be their most diverse and incredible. Self titled was a statement, this is the turning point to cement their status.

It's nice, that you've mentioned Ghost Atlas, because that album is really, I would've say romantic and it's good to show that metalhead can be romantics too :D Cure is sick song, so there's nothing much to say.

Pale Iris didnt hit on first listen but became a steady playlist track after a few more listens. The chorus is phenomenal. I feel this song may be the same for me.

As soon as I hear the open note on the 7th string I’m out. I understand “if its not broken don’t fix it” but after a decade of the same sounding metalcore (minus a few exceptions like Loathe and Omerta) I’m starting to lose a lot of faith in bands I once loved. Errs use to write riffs that would ascend my damn soul (like Crimson, Drift, The Hypnotist) and now it’s just noodling around strumming the open seventh string for nearly every song. I’m venting, clearly an old man yelling at the sky moment, but I wish these amazingly talented bands would do something new and cool, even if it flops it’s cool to see growth

I think it is weak, yes i think so! Not the level they have delivered with singels like last album. I do not like this song, it has there sound "yes" but the corse is "what the..." (but like in your PRO list, more your thing, respect it) the verse is good it is, but the music is "meeh". NOT BAD THO! They do something new i guess, but no "UMPF" in the corse and i like that, I do. I do not say this cus i like to hate, i say it cus as a fan and as a fan you should give criticism and praise. Not just one or the other and that is why i like your reviews. It is skilled and they are good musicians but this is for me "meeeh". I respect your reaction and opinion, i really do. Happy you enjoyed it. But AS a singel for there new album, it is not the level of Snowblood or Divisionary.

It has the essence of the band, but I hear the voices tones down. Let's remember that the band added a guitar. but as always it's wrong, 10 out of 10 in everything

Hot take here but I actually don’t care for their newest few songs at all. Something needs to change, they all kinda sound the same. I feel like they all have the exact same structure, same tempos, and very similar breakdowns. I know the album won’t be all songs like this, but it’s still frustrating that the singles aren’t more exciting. Their self titled singles did a much better job at encompassing the whole sound of the album. I’m all for going with a more accessible sound to gain more exposure, but I think they’ve maxed out their fan base with this sound. Need to change it up in my opinion

I don't know what it is this is my own personal opinion so people don't crucify me but I never really got into this band I tried many times but there is something about their sound that doesn't really do much for me they are very talented at their instruments and the vocals are sick but I honestly don't hear anything unique or different that stands out and really get's my attention. This is a song I could put on maybe 2-3 times to see if it's a grower but in the end it most likely wouldn't make my playlist.

Love the track except for screaming. There's nothing interesting about monotone screams to me. but I love everything else about this song. (and I don't hate screaming, I just don't like it in this song because it's SO BORING except that one near the end)
