Hi, I was the Producer of the '92 Space Crusade. I'm glad that it's sometimes featured on KZfaq. I wish I still had the actual board game I was originally given by Games Workshop at the time to design the actual video game!

So I guess Warhammer is a lot of things. An rpg, strategy game, fps, third-person shooter (tps), etc. Edit: It can even be a variant of American Football

First and foremost it is a table top war game. They were smart with licenses and did multi-genre games in the Warhammer universes(fantasy and 40K) Blood bowl is a spin off table top game of Warhammer Fantasy and ironically the video game adaptation is the only one that attempts to be as much like the table top version as possible.

Oof. I still remember Final Liberation. Most of the time it was fun, but sometimes, the AI messed up real bad. Even in a Exhibition Match you couldn't had a good fight against the AI, because it choosed mostly flyers which never ended their turn or took ages to finish it. My friend had it, that some Gretchins killed a Warlord. However they managed to do that

Kill Team was a bad, short twinstick shooter that was completley unballanced. It was not a lot of fun.

I actually first heard about Warhammer 40k through an ad and review of Fire Warrior. It looked like one of those generic niche 90's franchises... Now, Dawn of War is when I got properly introduced to 40k. That game had the personality to really sell the setting.

Among those ones, I think useful to mention, even if they are not officials : -Call of Warhammer (or Rage of the Dark Gods) -The Sundering Two mods for Medieval 2 Total War : Kingdoms, and I (kind of) believe, what triggered GW and TCA to work together. And to add another one : -Warsword, for Mount and blade : Warband

not really, they different settings, Wh40k is a different and Warhammer Fantasy is a different setting, not interconnected but kinda connected

I became a fan of the fantasy universe because of Chaosbane, even though that game could be better. Got sick and tired of Diablo 4's connection issues and their online play requirement so had to return to play Chaosbane. I recommend buying the slayer edition.

Fire Warrior was cool. Dawn of War is obviously a must have. and Space Marine on Ps3 was a good one too. Martyr was the last one I had fun with. No wonder why I never heard about the rest... most of them jus look unfinished or made 20 years before their release. I'm not sure we can really talk about an "evolution"...
