What's up YT? With the winter season quickly approaching and me needing to get bikes ready for storage, I wanted to share a quick garage update with you guys. Not just with bikes coming and going but, with planned projects for this winter off-season! I also have a few items for sale. Such a gem of a channel. I'm in the same boat. Getting into track I have a 07 Gsxr 600 and yeah I don't have any trouble with keeping up with anyone but it is an older bike. It doesn't make sense to get a new bike just to track it though. But I always wonder how long my bike will really last.

Funny, the last two bikes i sold, my wife said, you just got them the way you like them, you do all that work for someone else to enjoy. Now if I didn't mess up my ribs, I would have gotten passed the break in period on my V4S, soon enough... riiiight.. :)

Highly recommend a 959 for track unless you HAVE to see a SSSA of the V2. Only issue with these bikes are the $4,000 exhausts if you want more noise.

This is all a toughy. I’m sad to see the rsv4 go but I get it. As far as the S1KRR, it would be amazing to see an engine rebuild. New series😉 Also have you thought about a Daytona 675R for a middle weight?

I have and that’s an amazing track bike. The other 765 Daytona is on the table as well.

Derek, I always enjoy how candid you are. I live in the northern midwest, similar riding season. While I do get bummed out that I can only do trackday for half the year, I look forward to winter time and spending countless days in the garage taking the bike apart, cleaning parts, and upgrading parts. Not that it makes me any faster, but I absolutely love wrenching on these machines! Also, do you have any garage build plans? Looks like an amazing space!

No plans at the moment. The wife and I can’t decide if we’re staying or going. I’d hate to spend the $$ on the garage then move.

Saying you thinking of getting another F3 makes me remember the one you advertised on the Forum. If you the FM exhaust is a must. Sadly the "boss" made me get rid of all but 1 (MY10 CorsaCorta) due to them sitting in storage. Got rid of my RR and 675 F3 a last month 😭. Hopefully she doesn't look at the F4RR. Fortunately storage is easier here (South Africa) due to warm winters.

5-13 days lol... bro why even have any street bikes. If you dont enjoy going for short rides here and there and are only expecting to go for a street ride when friends can join or when the stars align perfect... theres really no need to even bother keeping a street bike. Just go 100% track. The rsv4 is a killer track bike.. interesting that you didn't just track it out.

It’s a byproduct of moving back east and my work schedule. When I was in AZ I road everyday. It is what it is. 🤷🏿‍♂️But I don’t see myself ever giving up street riding completely.
