Erst mal abwarten und nicht schon im Vorfeld alles schlecht reden, meiner Meinung nach hat der Song von ysaak gut Chancen

Ich fand Galant hat auch sehr positiv überrascht im Finale und es hätte das Potenzial gehabt ein Phänomen wie Serbien 2022 zu werden.

@@PetraGans Du hast Recht man sollte nicht im Vorfeld alles schlecht reden, vielleicht wird der Song ja auch eine positive Überraschung, aber sowohl die ESC Community als auch die Buchmacher sagen uns wieder den letzten Platz im Finale voraus. Und das liegt nicht daran, dass der Song schlecht ist, sondern einfach daran, dass der Song zu durchschnittlich ist, die meisten Leute mögen den Song, aber im Endeffekt mögen sie in nicht doll genug um für ihn auch anzurufen.

I could not have said it better. Isaac has a great voice and song, but Germany missed a trick. Ryk had a masterpiece and would have stood out so much... Bodine a great catchy song. Germany you had 2 winner alerts and you le them go... I wished youtube could translate comments or the whole page

Ich hab das Lied als einziges von den 9 davor hoch und runter gehört und leider muss man sagen, dass sie heute einfach nicht so performt hat wie andere.

Klingt wie schon zehn mal von anderen gehört. Könnte aus 15 anderen ESC Ländern stammen, Rumänien, Ukrainie, alles. ;)

@@kyubidzns Einstieg nicht getroffen, im Refrain beim ersten Rain zu abgehackt den Ton langsam runter gezogen, Einstieg zur zweiten Strophe zu geforct usw. Aber okay.. ist ja nicht so als ob ich das Lied vor dem deutschen Finale 30-40 gehört habe, weil sie mein Favorit war.

Die Songs waren alle nicht der burner und hätten zu allen Ländern gehören können. Zum esc sollte etwas deutsches Davon ab, ist deine Aussage auch nicht richtig, denn das sehen die Sympathisanten der anderen Acts auch anders und für sich selbst ebenso

I think it's perfectly natural that you want someone to represent your country who has a connection with it. Bodine has Canadian parents, is Dutch, and speaks some German. In the short interviews leading up to the event I never heard why she's competing for this country, so i understand why people wouldn't want her as our representative. I personally would have preferred Ryk, followed by Isaak or Bodine, so not unhappy with the result. Definitely a big boost to her career, lots of us will keep coming back to this song. Representing NL next year would be great 🙏

@@sebastiang.8677 I 100% agree with you and was thinking exactly the same. ​ @drazi09 Don't worry, I don't think it's sad, I think @sebastiang.8677 is right about that people prefer someone of their country representing their country, and that's ok. Though with that, I don't mean someone who is 100% German, but someone who at least has a special bond with the country. Maybe because they live there for a long time already or because their ancestors are from the country, or something similar, you know what I mean? Last year's Tvorchi for example, their lead singer Jimoh/Jeffery Kenny is originally from Nigeria, but he has lived in Ukraine for a long time and sang the song partly in Ukranian. So that bonds with people I suppose, eventhough he is not originally from Ukraine. Refering to that, I must say that I also thought that Bodine's interview was a bit underwhelming and quite rehearsed. It seemed very "staged" and was a bit "meh". So I understand that people didn't connect with her because of that, independent of her being or not being German. What do you think? What does surprise me is that they are never sending songs in German anymore. If people are so patriotic I would've expect the släger to win 😉. That said, better for us Dutchies because now Bodine might represent us next year, yet that I am VERY afraid of how our representation will do this year 😂😂😂😂. Ryk was my second favourite after his performance and I sincerily think he would have had more posibilities in ESC than Isaak. Nothing against Isaak, the guy can sing and looks like a lovely person, but in my opinion, his performance was a bit boring and the song is too generic. I actually liked it better when he sang it again with all the other contestants on stage 🙃. But Ryk, his performance was absolutely mesmerizing 😍😍😍. I liked this song before but was not wowed by it. Last night though, I was really amazed and had goosebumps all the time. I think he sang beautifully and the staging was very nice too. He really captivated me and I think he would have done good in ESC. It is actually the first ballad I have heard from any national final for now, that I think could compete with Slimane. But...let's give Isaak a chance, maybe he will surprise us?

I think the Stage was a little empty and maybe that´s just me, but I was really annoyed by those flashing Lights in the background 😅 a little too bright for my taste . . . Which is so sad because she has an amazing Song and Voice 😢❤
