Nice to see that you still have fond memories of your 5.0ta. Your videos inspired us to become 5.0ta owners as well...A couple of weeks ago we were camping in the same campground as the new owners of Casa Blanca. They were gracious enough to give us a tour of your old trailer. You'll be happy to know that Casa Blanca is well loved and well cared for.

Regarding the oven: Get a large pizza stone to put in the oven when using the oven. Apparently, it normalizes or evens out the hot spots. Just make sure to take the stone out before traveling or it will break. 🤗

Without getting too philosophical...lol... It was a timing thing. Sometimes you decide to change and sometimes change is thrust upon you. We did not have a place to store the camper in the summer. We were in lockdown after lockdown and couldnt travel anyway. We'd always wondered if we could complete a van conversion on our own. Because of the nature of our work and travel, this would be the only opportunity for us to try. We were stationary for a year and a half. Now that itch has been scratched. Would we buy an Escape again? Yes, in a heartbeat. But for now we're enjoying being only 24 feet long. Thanks for your comment and thanks for watching!
