Survarium has a "renderer for low-end PCs" setting in the graphics options menu that runs great even on Intel Graphics HD 4000. If you're talking about the "High-end" renderer with better graphics then, yes, it's unoptimized. Low-end renderer was made from scratch to gradually implement all the good graphics the high-end one has and eventually replace it.

"0 balance and its p2w game", looks like you know zero to nothing about it. Balance is constantly being tinkered with and, in the latest 0.47 patch, Assault Rifles got a much needed buff in DPS and range. Gold weapons (the ones you buy with real money) are just camouflage versions with 3 modifiers already built-in and all modules unlocked of weapons that you can grind to get by playing.

I love how in survarium the guns actually have recoil when hipfiring, but then turn into laser beams when aiming down sights.

EFT has some of the most realistic sounds I've ever heard in a game. As a gun owner and gun enthusiast, I've fired all sorts of guns in my day. Ranging from .22lr to .50BMG. You don't get a lot of the echo that Survarium has when you're actually firing a gun. You hear much more of the initial crack of the round, then the sound immediately dissipates, because it's so loud. Survarium sounds like it was recorded from a distance on a range. Still good sounds, just not from a first person perspective.

Survarium was released on steam on april 2nd 2015. more or less it was on survarium page for like 1 year. Escape from tarkov got it's first wave of testers on 28th December 2016. Eft made a lot more progress than survarium and eft is pay to play not play to win. I don't relly understand how anyone would say that survarium is better than escape from tarkov. Also survarium with last patch got premium bullets that do more damage...

Many of the guns do not require a manual slide rack, as you hear the bolt click from locked back to forward. Although on some of the other guns there is oversight on this and they arent reloaded properly.

Difference between EFT and Survarium is that EFT Devs Made the game contract wars and recorded most if not all sounds on the real guns and continued this strategy in EFT, they also involved soldiers and Speznas which fought with these weapons to give them also a realistic handling. So in the end its a hardcore "Simulator-like" game in the contrast to survarium being free to play and relativly low cost in Development compared to EFT also more casuall gameplay

To me, they all sound great, the difference is that one is recorded in an enclosed environment (such as a indoor gun range) and the other is recorded in a outdoor environment. It does not make sense to hear the sound of a gun while outside like when you are on the inside. So, I would like to compare if in Tarkov they took the same care with the weapon sounding like Survarium when the player is inside buildings.

When you shoot inside building in escape from tarkov there is change in sound. Also when you are on receving end sound in eft is really good. everything makes sound, footsteps, clothes, guns... everything. EFT has really good sound design

Because the locations are totally different... Footage from Tarkov is a big wide open area, while the Survarium footage is done in the shooting range level of the game, which is a very small map, located down in a valley.. that's why the echo is so loud. In the open areas, the guns sounds much better in Survarium.

It's easy to tell which developer could capture sounds in an open field, and which developer had to capture sounds inside a shooting range. EFT destroys Survarium.

One thing that bothers me about Survarium is certain weapons don't get recocked from empty. The reload animation is just the player sticking a new magazine in and it's good to go E.G. 1:39 It just looks weird as fuck.

EFT does have incredible quality in sound and the volume of practically any sound depends on what's around you. Noise becomes a massive part of the game, especially indoors. Footsteps are ominous as hell and distant gun shots or explosions are timed and, since a lot of the time silence dominates, they scare the shit outta me. In comparison to ArmA the sound is amazing cuz' ArmA's, especially in 3, is horse shit. Compared to Squad the sound is similar, but a bit higher quality. I agree that weapon's volumes are a tad low outdoors, but I don't know if the space around the player is to blame. Comparing these games in completely different spaces isn't going to help. Lamka - It is right that devs live recorded, but that has nothing to do with transferring the sound to players through Unity as that depends on the competency of sound designers.

Tarkov has more aggressive foley sounds, but Survarium has nicer reverb and echo. Survarium also gets the nod for a better M4 bolt release. Overall it's not exactly the most fair comparison there is, Tarkov is newr and has more effort behind it.

You know when something is really good when you get to try something tha's even more better. I played survarium and it was ok it wasn't my favorite but i liked it. But when i got my hands on escape from tarkov i got hooked for me paying those 35 euros for escape from tarkov is so mutch wort it. I would't pay even penny for survarium.

Оба хороши. Но совсем другое дело сыграть и послушать самому, мне очень понравились звуки в таркове, прям оргазм для ушей.Каждое оружие по своему звякает и гремит, все звуки четкие , насыщенные да что там говорить! Помню просто перезаряжался чтобы вновь послушать звук перезарядки.

Survarium = What is recoil? I play ESCAPE from Tarkov Actively and have found it to be a much better survival than Survarium. the bullet spread is also super unrealistic in Survarium, its like a flippen musket. Thats not how bullets work.

Survarium definitely gets beat, mainly because the guns are too echo filtered, and the y sound so distant. Too quiet to be real. EFT definitely gets beat on AK models though. Mainly because AK models don't actually kick as bad as they do in EFT, and the EFT sounds are not as close to the real sounds as they are in Survarium. But even Survarium made those too quiet. I will say as well, is that Survarium doesn't turn you into a limpwristing, manlet. The guns don't kick that hard IRL, if they do, lift.
