Musical ideas are running out. Listen to "catching shadows" and "into the air" by ivan trevino. They aren't exactly the same but they have similarities throughout all of them. Ideas are running out.

@@Cube-sb9tp but the point is, musical ideas are running out. They really are. Every new song is another melody that has been taken. Less and less melodies are available to write as time goes on. Write music while you still can. Everyone should take advantage of it.

@@chrisg6492 I think this is completely false. Bach took all of our tonal melodies and yet people continue to write music in major and minor keys 300 years later. now think about all of the scales we haven't used yet, all of the standard modes Pop music hasn't used yet and how they could. think of all the atonal music that hasn't even had thousands of years to develop. in thousands more years, think of all of the microtonal music that hasn't been discovered. now leaving melody aside, think of all of the different soundscapes we have yet to discover and implement them all in each scenario previously stated. so no, we are not running out.

I know this video is really old in internet years but I come back to it every year or so, just to remind myself how far this instrument can be taken, so I never become complacent in my playing or lose inspiration. Honestly this is one of those things that keeps me going, and I cannot thank you guys enough for just being incredible at what you do.
