Angel tells the truth! Houses will suck your soul dry just to get settled in. I’ve done it 4 times and I believe I would be wealthy right now if I had all the money I have spent ! New construction always has problems, existing homes that are well cared for probably will have all the kinks worked out by the previous owner. It is a double edged sword!

Cartess can talk but if Robert is around, he lays back. Robert can talk, but when Angel is around, he lays back. Angel & Robert can talk, and when they’re BOTH around. Cartess is a mute. 😂😂

Man, you guys remind me of when I hang out and shoot the sh*t with my crew. Just talking about life, how to make it, and how to make it better. It's good that you guys have each other. Having a tight-knit community of friends makes all of the difference in your level of happiness in life. That savings on property taxes in Mexico (and just about everywhere) is real! In California, you will pay anywhere from 1.5% - 2% of your purchase price EVERY YEAR in property taxes. The average home price in Berkeley, CA is $1.48 MILLION. That's nearly $2,000/month JUST FOR THE PROPERTY TAXES!!! And you can't catch a break renting either. The average rent on a 2BR apartment in Berkeley is about $4/sq. ft. Unreal! And the violence and crime out of control here. 15 people got shot at a Juneteeeth Festival at Lake Merritt in Oakland, CA. The police were nowhere to be found. It's insane! And then there's the issue about not feeling welcome in your own country, where you were born. Why do I feel more welcome and seen (in a good way) when I visit Mexico City (or just about any other city I've been to outside of the US) than when I go to different places within the US? It's absurd. Don't pay any mind to the haters who can't be happy for you for finding happiness and contentment. Let them float on and keep living your best lives! Imma be there soon!

Can you clarify with Angel the BTU size of his mini splits? I’m unclear what size he actually put in. We saw a new house we like BUT it needs a car cover for garage. Needs front gates across for garage, needs fans, needs all mini splits, needs landscaping. Other than that it’s perfect 😂😂😂 we have to figure in those additional cost onto that house. If we go with that one. We are looking at used houses too as most of them have some of that included. Weighing the pros and cons.
@Mexicobeanpole27 күн бұрын
I think most of the U.S. problems is because we’re such a litigation country. The cops couldn’t help you even if they wanted to, because they can get in trouble or sued if something goes wrong. We also pay more for services and goods because of law suits. As a restaurant manager I had to go two different lawsuits of people faking falls to get money. As consumers we all pay the price for that.

That's absolutely right in your property taxes. But in the country here in Texas it's much cheaper or a lot less expensive, mine is 936.00 a year for my lake house. But still not as inexpensive as there. Yes everything is more expensive in the US. Thanks Cartess it's nice to hear what the differences are.
