To escape from this prison I employ the most powerful tool in my arsenal. I open the menu, and disconnect from the server. As you can see, I'm no longer in my cell. In fact, I'm no longer in the prison at all. I have escaped, and there's nothing the guards, or anyone else can do to stop me.

my favorite part of this video is that once Kenadian figured out the cat thing he could literally just hook one of those up to an ender pearl stasis chamber to escape at any point 😂

This is great! I laughed a lot, as a fan of Mythrodak's videos, seeing someone else who's content I enjoy a lot do a parody of one was super fun :]

Definitely made me laugh, good humor. I gotta say, though, you did my boy Eleos Citadel dirty. I mean, you escaped it, sure, but from what I recall, that one was less of a typical "prison". Instead, it was more of a "rehabilitation center", where instead of keeping prisoners in a cell all day, they let them do things like some limited PVP and building, and receive approved mail. Still, this was a good video overall, and now I know of the cat detector method, which is just, like, INSANE? No, really, how the heck did you find that method? That seems something that might be a tad less known than a glitch from 1 snapshot.

So I suppose the joke is that Mythrodak’s escapes are needlessly complicated, to the point that they are actually invalid because they rely on too many assumptions that, while may work on paper, are not guaranteed to work if the guards are thorough.

These prison escapes are still really insane but I think sombody would notice a giant crying obsidian structure on top of the prison

Love how mythro only chooses prisons made for roleplay and then they immediately do the exact opposite of what you are supposed to, wonder when they'll try a technical prison and literally combust.

I think the idea of a minecraft "prison gaurd" is really cheap because realistically, you can't have 3 or 4 people constantly logged into a server for one player.

Ok so heres an idea: After every killcheck, chunkban the prisoner for 6 minutes, as to prevent him from picking up items he shouldnt.

The satans arch escape is kinda invalid because at the park after the first kill check the floor will be retracted and you would drop into lava. As for the cleopatras tomb escape its fine. We just gave up when making Cleos

that really is how theyd turn out, because you have no reason to comply with the beds unless theres an actual penalty for dying so escapes that involve dying wouldnt work and it would just all be insurance from stasis chambers controlled by the cat trick and just having as many delayed chambers and as many disconnects required so that youll end up still going just because you have more counters and stasis chambers than the number of times guards forced you through dimensions and made you throw into stasis chambers

I think you should do it with actual guards, it will make it more fun and satisfying. Even if the escape fails because of the guards it will be very entertaining seeing the guards skills this time stopping someone from escaping rather then the prisoners skill. A very interesting new perspective.

I just got an idea for a way to make a smuggle-proof kill check: a slab covering the top half of the bed to prevent throwing, with the only spawnable space on the other side. move the player into lava for the kill check, then splash the lava with harming pots. this would mean that you could not access your items no matter what.

I think that the escape of Eleos Citadel doesn't count because for me simply logging out is the same as not setting the spawnpoint in the bed. Then when you are killed you are in your bed at home. If the guard puts lava on the block where you logged out then you die and you are also at your bed. And even if all this seems to be right for him, it's still not a breakout because he was never in the cell. That would be like if Stat got rid of his items and just killed everyone and then claimed he escaped from the best prison. For me the first ones are good but the last one is just nonsense.

You could make a prison that has large chunkbans guarded by reinforced deepslate in a giant cube. Set the server version to the Deep Dark Experimental Snapshot 1 to move reinforced deepslate. If the walls are thick enough, the only way to get into it would be a pearl cannon or the normal visitor hallways. Make a roof detector at the actual prison that areabans the entire actual prison if any block at the top is broken. A chamber below the roof detector could be a large entity cramming kill chamber with areabanned walls as to disable block placements. (If there's a flaw inform me) Have the cell be a cobblestone platform connected to sideways cobblestone generators hidden from view via lavafall. This makes the pistons making the platform function untouchable by the prisoner. Even if you could jam the pistons, the area below the prisoner is covered in deep lava. At the bottom is more reinforced deepslate to get rid of mining, as fire resistance does not last enough to mine reinforced deepslate with mining fatigue (Yes, there are elderguardians). There is an automatic potato farm that filters out normal potatoes and dispenses the prisoner poisonous potatoes using hopper minecarts and their ability to grab through full blocks. The spawning can be a bed that is obstructed everywhere except 2 spaces. The spaces are diagonal from the bed itself and are simply 1x2x1 areas walled with obsidian. It is an obsidian chamber with no way out other than a netherite block at the bottom controlled by a sticky piston. Every 2 seconds, the piston will either extend or retract. This is not enough time to do anything with the obsidian or netherite block. The pistons are timed to always leave one available to spawn on while guaranteeing the prisoner is dropped before they can do anything meaningful. If necessary, there is a TNT dispenser that can be activated from the guard observatories, of which there are 5, and one Warden observatory. Every observatory has a tnt dispenser and an areaban toggle, that affects only the inside of the cell. There must always be at least 1 guard watching the prisoner. The prisoner is now unable to solo escape, they are only able to walk on a cobblestone platform they have no control over as they cannot get blocks, and they are trapped in a sea of lava. They can be areabanned and blown up at any time the guards want, and the guards are not affected by this areaban, making it a murder switch and not a suicide switch. The only method of getting inside the cell is now a standard visitor entry, that can be item proofed by hoppers and multiple versions and kinds of kill checks ranging from manual to automatic. Killing the user in lava, manually watching and killing them, giving them too awkward of an angle to smuggle items without the guard on standby seeing. The walls are flat and itemless, so you cant damage boost over to anything as you would only die to lava, and the cell is item proof via killchecks. I call it Keeper's Vault, the theoretical perfect prison in survival minecraft.
