I’m sure the town sued the company for creating the blob and what it did to there town and the people of it after Brian revealed the truth

@@AmandaJonathanHarasym Nobody would get paid off. Most likely, there was some sort of "accidental" chemical explosion in the town that wiped out the whole town. No survivors. Anybody who luckily survived and tried to speak would have a fatal accident imminently.

The Company is the United States Government, if this was real several Alphabet agencies shut the town down and make up some lie involving a environmental disaster and either discredit or silence the towns people if they ever had the chance to leave the town at all.

The Reverend 4:34 was played by Del Close. He starred in the movie Beware The Blob. A not too well known sequel to the 1958 the Blob.

It was crazy, they said it was simply a germ launched into space and when it came back it became a life form that hunts its prey. He said he believed it killed the dinosaurs.
