This is quite educational. It's crucial for newcomers to keep in mind that the financial markets are highly irrational in the short run. You should constantly be ready for the unexpected. That is how chance operates. Because of the inherent risks in the market, I always favor long-term investments.

These uncertainties will always be there. Thing is, every once in a while, the market does something so stupid it takes your breath away. If youre not ready for it, you shouldnt be in the market business. or get you a skilled practitioner.

Nice content! Few years back I was assistant to a wealthy pen artist and within the short period I worked with him I observed that he had quite a chunk of investment everywhere, stocks, crypto, dividend investing to name a few, so he had revenues coming in from all angles. And in a year his worth doubled. With this I learned that the rich stay rich by investing.

Effective personal finance management is more important than the amount of money saved, regardless of whether income is earned through job or investment. Individuals can seek counsel from a certified financial advisor to optimize financial outcomes, who can provide specialized advice and methods to decrease expenses and maximize income.

I agree, that's the more reason I prefer my day to day investment decisions being guided by an advisor, seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time both employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis they have, it's near impossible to not out-perform, been using my advisor for over 2years+ and I've netted over 2.8million.

That’s why I make it a point to speak with a financial advisor before choosing any investments. I’ve been using one since the pandemic, using profits oriented tactics and minimizing risks as a buffer against inevitable downtrends. In addition they have access to insider knowledge and analysis, making failure virtually impossible for them. I’ve made about a million working with my advisor for over three years now.

Habit 1: wake up early (4:30 am) Use your weekends towards goals Habit 2: Visualize who want to be. Focus on the habits of who that is. Habit 3: kick bad habits that aren’t serving you (weed, games, alcohol) or anything holding you back. Stop poisoning body and mind. Habit 4: find your online business model, brand and image. Habit 5: side hustle with intention of being an entrepreneur not just for extra cash. Develop successful business to control time.

I agree with a lot of his advice but PLEASE REST!! I see so many entrepreneurs burn themselves out. There will always be MORE work to do but you only get one body. Don’t make your body force you to rest because you’re hustling. Also don’t forget to hang with your friends! Maintaining your social life important. Get out of your office, get some work done at Starbucks. TAKE YOUR LUNCH! If you’re a parent PLEASE know when to prioritize your family!!! I encounter rich college students who lack compassion because their parents gave them money instead of TIME. Then they think $$ can solve all of life’s problems. Be human, don’t just hustle.

I get the sneaky suspension that spending time with his family (as he mentioned at the end of the vid) is probably how he rests maybe he just didn't highlight that as resting. And if that is the case then I fully understand that when he said rest he meant taking a break from his goals/dreams kinda like not waking early to exercise on weekends. If that's what he means then I agree with him. Imma paste these tips on my wall and look at them everyday

Then you have Harvard doctors making bank at age 60+ and THEY STILL have student loans! So they are in debt. My daughter's councelor from high school told me that she knows a Dr like that. It's about what you do with your salary that is one of the most important things. Money is a tool that has to be used correctly. My mom, a registered nurse, retired early at age 60 when she saw her retirement accounts were worth around $1 million. And she was just a nurse. And she didn't even practice until she was like in her late 30s early 40s. She only took $25k in student loans for her bachelors. And paid it off before she retired.

I'm a millionaire and a bit older. Agree with most of this as general rules and good mindset. Preach! That said it's fully possible to enjoy occasional treats, whatever that is for you. And for God's sake you can also be a millionaire as a W2! I really dislike the message these days that owning a biz is *THE* way. Not hating on entrepreneurs, I've been W2, 1099 and run my own businesses. You just have to know what game you're playing and play it well regardless of what it is. Keep up the good work and putting out these positive messages Karlton!

You're right that being a "salaryman" in some good-paying (usually "boring") career and smartly amassing a nest egg can work just as well. These KZfaqrs probably figure owning shares still counts as the business owner dimension. Otherwise they seem stuck in the mindset that if you're an owner-manager, that is the only way you can be forced to save/invest money at some compounding growth rate. Which is obviously not the case.
@bigslacker666
@bigslacker666 8 ай бұрын
@@davidglad Definitely there are many ways to approach it. Take a big tech programmer who comes out of college making $150k/yr and over the next decade works up to making $300k+ a year. They max 401k and get match from the employer. They live modestly for their income, invest smartly in the market, real estate, both and so on. They're gonna be a millionaire easily in their 30's. If they don't fall prey to lifestyle inflation, financial freedom isn't far. And they didn't need to rollercoaster of business ownership to do it. Not saying one way is better, just saying not everyone is built the same or has/takes advantage of the same opportunities. But having good strategy and the right mindset are keys regardless of the path.

@@bigslacker666 I didn't see your message until today. I'd remark that a "tech bro" making that money likely would be in San Francisco or another high tax/cost of living area. Guess "van life" is an ultimate "house hack" in that situation while just appearing to be highly dedicated to be at the office a ton. While perhaps buying property in another area/state (hopefully where family or trusted friends can manage it) and, as you amass a portfolio, perhaps you'd time your paid vacation to briefly stay at your properties when they are vacant to see how they are doing. As for my own "Make do as a w2" adventure, my parents were thankfully gracious enough to let me live with them until my career finally took off in another part of the country. (What a _long_ runway they gave me!) For ways to save or at least avoid burying yourself in debt.

Look for stocks that have paid consistently increasing dividends for years (or decades) and have not cut their dividends even during recessions. If this may result in a reduction in your dividend profits or income, speaking to a certified market strategist may provide you with guidance.

I also immersed myself in a $20k academy that will help me build my online business from the ground up. Can you do a video about the absolute terror of putting yourself in debt praying the ROI will at least get your money back that you invested? I’m being told I will triple my ROI at least in my first year. So I’m going to buckle up and give it 110% I have good coaching and good experts set up around me. So wish me luck. I’m so stressed but I also have the vision and the motivation. I won’t stop until I get into millionaire category! I’m so broke but I’m doing it. I’m getting up at 4:30 and I’m doing all the things before and after my day job and an RN! I will build my online presence! Keep rocking Karlton!
