I made this video like a year ago when I was watching (ie rewatching for the third time) the Kirby anime…… god Escargoon is so fucking good he is the best character in the entire Kirby franchise not even joking. So yeah enjoy all the clips I took of him being silly.
Also ik the content warning at the start sounds dramatic but it is my opinion accurate to dedede and Escargoon’s relationship bc wow they are fucked up ik it’s played for comedy but if you sit down and think about how their relationship really is…….. yknow…
Also also ik this isn't cross duel. Sue me or smth idk

Escargoon works off of Dedede perfectly, a smart-mouthed sidekick to a dim-bulb dictator. Both of them carried this show, and Void Termina bless them for it.

This is the only cartoon that actually deserves a remake. If they ever make a Kirby Movie they should use the same voices actors in this show and use it as inspiration as well.

The real challenge would be to get away with it. King K. Rool who is a literal genius (as he stole the bananas to starve the Kongs in the first place) ended up building robots and coming with homicidal plans and still couldn’t defeat DK and DK even punched the moon out of orbit. So how is a penguin and his snail lackey going to even get 10 feet away with DK’s banana hoard when they can’t even get one win against a pink baby?

He also mocks Dedede's weight a lot too, like in episode 1 where the villagers complain to King Dedede about a monster. "- It's huge and it eats everything in its path ! - That's just King Dedede ! There's no monster here !" Or in episode 2 where they get crushed by the Rock Monster Dedede just bought. "- Incredible, this thing is heavier than you !" This might not be the exact dialogue since I'm watching the thing in french (since I'm french) and I don't know how they phrase it in english, but you get the idea.

@@susankornas2613, or perhaps a Kirby animated movie in the vein of the Super Mario Bros movie, because that seems to be popular. Since I heard that they're planning on making a Legend of Zelda movie (whether it's animated or live action is unclear, I don't know at the moment), it only makes sense to have Kirby be the next Nintendo franchise they'll adapt. If they ever follow up on Kirby Right Back At Ya, I will enjoy it..

I think escargoon is pretty funny too. It's too bad he didn't appear in any other of the kirby games, though. I mean, his last appearance was kirby mass attack but he hasn't been in any other games after that. I really feel like he should make a return in a future kirby game. I'm not sure if nintendo will ever do this, but they should make like a kirby RPG. I know they're working the mario RPG remake game but they've a kirby 3D game and I really liked that. And I'd be even more happy if escargoon came back in it. And honestly, I feel like to make it more funny kirby should have like a companion for that game where there's like a female pink kirby. It sounds weird, though. But then again, kirby could really use like a pink twin of himself, but like a girl. Like they used color kirbys for other games. But all I'm saying is, it would be nice to see nintendo do that.
