Chris Coleman and I each took the raw material from "Eschaton" and decided to reinterpret the song in each of our own unique voices. This version (and the accompanying footage from Stephen Proctor) is my own rework of Eschaton - the dominant theme of my rework is a lament, as my own mother is in her final days of life. This piece was birthed in a single night between 1am and 5 am...it came to me more naturally than most and I hope it finds you where it found me...yearning, grieving and hoping for more...
Visuals by Stephen Proctor: www.constructvisuals.com & illuminate.us
Cello - Chris Coleman
Violin - Bonnie Brooksbank
Harp - Lara Somogyi

I'm 23 and I lost my father almost 2 months ago. He had a serious disease, no cure, only death. He spend 2 months in hospital getting worst little by little, but I was in peace with his certain death. A day after his passing, I had to start doing something I never thought I would do so fast as it was... I had to start living. Still being the darkest time of my life because of all I have to do. If you are feeling alone, it's normal, but, in certain point, you are not alone. I wish I could create musics in my head as I used before... But it never came back so... Use this ''power'' in your favor! Sometimes I want to listen just to your musics. Just because of my feelings so, thank you for that. Stay strong, the path after the passing isn't easy, but you will grow as never before.

The very day my father passed away he appeared in my dreams as his usual self with no sickness. This was my key into realizing that I can always meet him there and thus dreams became my portal to meet all my loved ones who are on the other side. I always feel comforted and that's what matters. Maybe someday you will flow with your music again but then everything has a phase in life. So grieving to understand the loss is part of the process too. All will be well. Take care.

Eschaton means trying to bring about the eschaton (the final, heaven-like stage of history) in the immanent world. In all these contexts it means "trying to make that which belongs to the afterlife happen here and now (on Earth)"

That happens to be The Second Coming of Jesus Christ. You were dishonest in your reply. It specifically is about Jesus Christ. Did he not say to his disciples when they asked him how to pray, 'Our Heavenly Father your Name most Reverend to be Feared, Thy Kingdom Come, Thy Will be done on earth as is in heaven" ? Now is the Time to be Ready.. Now is the Time to Repent (Turn utterly over to Him and die into His Death) so as when he Comes again all those who have believed into Him will Rise Again in Him as One into Eternal Dwelling places. If not, perish...forever.

@@sponsler Thats according to the dispensational premillennialism. What he originally said is closer to truth. Historically, the church has taught amillienialism and postmillennialism, the latter is in which the Great Commission is a success and the knowledge of God floods the entire world, bringing about the symbolic millennial kingdom. The dispensational premillennial view says the Christ is not yet enthroned but will be at the second coming. Christ however is already enthroned and ruling, He has all authority on heaven and on earth. The kingdom of God will not come with flash and spectacles, like most think. The kingdom is already here but its like a mustard seed, it is born small and weak, at times it crooks and halts its growth, but eventually it will grow and become the biggest of all trees. The understanding you have of Revelation might be mistaken, look into postmillenalism, to me it makes more biblical sense

When words become unclear, music and images can be a way to express your emotions. At the same time they can evoke powerful emotions with the audience. This piece as well as the accompanying imagery have done so with me. Thank you, Tony. I hope you can find strength in your own music. Best regards from Belgium.

Tony, I can’t thank you enough for your music, it’s truly breathtaking! I’m amazed by how you craft such beautiful works of art. When I’m listening to your music I feel like I’m looking at a Van Gogh or J. M. W. Turner. Sometimes, it honestly takes my breath away. The way you layer the music, one sound on top of another, and the way it spins around voices is truly a work of art. Crazy as this may sound, you have been added to my top 5 most desired people to meet, I believe you are one of the greatest artists of our time, I sincerely mean that.

This gives me chills, music has always been there to convey emotions and reach into the hearts of listeners but your music goes deeper, it's so intense and powerful, I can't describe it but it's a whole other experience for me. Thank you so much for bringing your art to the world. It also, in a way to me, relates to life - I can feel the void and the expanse like failure and success during our short time here, but way deeper. I'm probably talking gibberish at this point. But, wanted to let you know that your music is impacting yet another soul in an amazing way. Amazing video @Stephen.
