@@albanian5525 I thought that at the end there would be a new evil character who would even be stronger than esdeath and akame. Then night raid and the jeagers would become friends and fight against the new evil character. Let's say 40% of their crew die but atleast they would have beaten the new character. After Najenda's death Esdeath becomes the new captian of night raid and the jeagers and they fight against other villians in season 2/3. Then at the end all of them die with a smile on their faces but atleast there has been 2 or 3 seasons instead of only 1 season.

Since during the time there was 1 season (still is) when I was watching it I thought they were going to band together to defeat the empire, sadly not though.
