if you watch some of their matches he gets quite a few snap headshots on people he isnt peeking at by aiming across the map quickly i think hes just used to the accel. even ive gotten used to 1.05 accel for this purpose, but 1080 res now thats what i find unplayable

I play with really low sensitivity with mouse acc on because with low sensitivity it gives you better aim however if someone is behind you, you wont be able to to a full 180 in 1 full swipe with your mouse so the mouse acc helps turn faster with low sens.

***** Your statement kind of contradicts itself. You just said that mouse acceleration in windows is different but in CSGO it makes it go faster... Thats exactly what mouse acceleration does. It slightly speeds up but then it has to decelerate meaning if you stop moving your mouse it needs a "Cool down" til the mouse comes to a complete stop. In theory this is bad because it has a chance of destroying your aim. Previous comments lead me to believe that low sensitivity counters that... although the sensitivity would need to be quite low to be somewhat effective.

ademkin We all know that French is not that good at speaking English (because of the education ofc.). But he plays CS, you kinda need to know English in order to play. Otherwise you will be that shitty player who is not talking or only speaking his own language. And he is a pro. So basically his comment was totally valid. And if you watch Screams stream, he knows English. So ether he is not comfortable enough in front of the camera or he is to proud. Anyway, it's just weird to have people translate for you if you know the language.

Get a mouse with no acceleration (optical) and put it on 400 dpi. Get a good black mouse pad, light mouse and you'll have no problem.

I posted that a week ago, I'm now using 700 DPI and it's perfect. I came from using 3600 DPI and I thought going down to something like 400 would be too low, I got used to 400 DPI, and then 3600 became too high! But 700 DPI is very precise and very fast to me, feels awesome. It might have a little to do with the amount the arm moves, but more importantly it's more accurate as well.

JustMegawatt Im pretty much the same man, I went from 1900 dpi to 800 and it just feels so much better. I gave 700 a go but it just takes that bit longer to aim up that screws it for me

Milchbengel z You can't infinitely reduce the sensitivity in most games. Also most of the games do have a limit of how low you can go.

They all play with low DPI because they already play for years. And couple of years back there wasn't any high DPI and so they are used to low DPI and they keep using it.

6 is generally ideal, depending on what mouse you have or if raw sensitivity isn't implemented correctly, having it high has the possibility to screw up the smoothness of your mouse movement in game, and throw off all your dpi and sensitivity settings (possibly) it's just generally a good idea to keep it at 6/11 so you're guaranteed to have a 1:1 ratio between what the mouse is showing your computer, and what the OS is giving to the game you're playing.

I played on a tiny mouse pad for years. I've changed to 450 dpi and 4.2 sens, but I feel like it's too low at times, and too high at others. Just gotta get use to moving my entire arm around I suppose.
