I'm absolutely loving Eskimo Callboy right now! These two songs I've heard so far by them have been so fun! I know I'm like a year behind listening to Hypa Hypa, but better late than never, so let's go! Thank you guys for introducing me to this band! CONGRATULATIONS! You have begun to go down the EC rabbit hole. You are right about the videos being ridiculous and the music being kind of silly, but when you put both together something amazing happens and you can’t help but smile and move.

Actually at the end, all of the guys are german youtubers/streamers who just got into the video for fun. One of them is HandOfBlood, he also is the protagonist of their music videos to McThunder 1 & 2. But you should check out Hate/Love, its more serious tho. Greeetings from Germany!

Seriously, go back to the start, the album Bury me in Vegas. I've only just recently discovered them too since they released "we got the moves" so playing catch up working through their old music, but this album is an absolute banger. There are videos to "Is anyone up" and "Muffin purper-gurk". Well worth a listen to the whole album, you wont be disappointed

If you're interested: the döpdöpdöp-chants are a homage to the song "Maria, i like it loud" by the German Techno Band "Scooter". This song was a huge hit back in the early 2000s.

I think that both Hypa Hypa and We got the moves just hit different for german ppl who grew up with scooter. It's just that extra cherry on top.
