I was seriously sad when I saw the very rare gold turn to uh....vomit colored, lol.

One thing about dyes that I really want changed is how they pay wall being able to dye your costumes. If I paid money for the costume, why must I pay AGAIN for ESO plus just to fix the ugly default colours it came with (I swear whoever gives costumes their default dye sets must be some degree of colourblind)

@@PinkWytchBytch The dyes are only 50g a pop, which is fine with me. All MMOs need a gold sink given they tend to think it is a good idea to shower players with gold for doing next to nothing. I do rather resent the high prices for applying some armor and weapon motifs that are dungeon and event rewards. It is a bit like "Here is a nice pair of shoes, but you need to pay £100 whenever you put them on" :). And really the whole outfit system in ESO is not ideal. There would be no need for "outfits" at all if they allowed you to transmute armor permanently. Outfits as currently implemented are a crown store cash grab, but whatever, ESO has a better stroe policy than most other games.

@@roqsteady5290 I completely understand and agree, the system has plenty of notable flaws that sometimes make me raise an eyebrow at ZOS' decisions. Sadly though, given how old the game is, I doubt they could do very much more to improve the little quality-of-life aspects of the game mechanics before they start running into things that need a better engine or worse before the "improvements" start to mess up other things in game (based off what I've researched as to why certain changes can't be made), which is reasonable. While the games systems may not be ideal, I agree, at least they're functional. Though it would be nice to be able to use in game gold to save a certain armor outfit you've designed as a costume of some kind, like maybe they'd have a different tab in collections than normal costumes, since they'd be "made" and not bought?

@@PinkWytchBytch Well, I am very impressed by the new armor sets feature to be released with the Markath DLC very soon. And they are also making changes to simplify crafting writs. I think those things show a commitment to improving the game and quality of life changes in particular. So I wouldn't be surprised if they address cosmetics too, at some stage, since it is a major attraction for the game. I suspect though that, as you suggest in your post, changing the dye channels on existing armor would require a lot of work not to mention revamping the way the whole armor system works. It is difficult to tell what their long term strategy is, but the game appears to be doing very well so big improvements are surely on the table and the Markath changes do look like a step in the right direction.

@@rasmusmaarup5320 I know you are not hating my friend. I need to explain though. This channel could be called "Crap I do" I really just do it to make myself happy. I have to do it like that to keep going. I'm a silly person and I love costumes and Halloween and jokes so that's what i do. So to me, the point is the costumes the silliness of riding a spider making my character look stupid and all the other pointless things I do in the videos. There are a ton of ESO content creators that do really fast, to the point, concise videos. I mean Shimmer does videos in like 3 minutes. I like to ramble, it's just me. If you ever met me, that's exactly what you would see. However, you can always tap twice on the right side of your screen and the video will jump ahead 10 seconds. Three times 20 seconds like that. On a console you just pull the trigger and go to about three minutes in. I won't apologise for my style, it's what i am. thanks for watching and commenting, I appreciate it.
