I purchase over here in Brazil from a guy who brought it directly from Japan, lovely guitar indeed! Pure quality, way better that today's Gibsons

AS far I'm concerned the CD have Humbuckers while the CD/P have P90. You can check them both on the official ESP Site: CD: espguitars.co.jp/edwards/lp/E-LP-130CD.html CD/P: espguitars.co.jp/edwards/lp/E-LP-130CDP.html I don't know about LTC or LTS models and I did not find them on the Discontinued session of their website so I can't answer that. Check that section, it's on the bottom right on a selection box: espguitars.co.jp/edwards/index.html I have an old Epiphone LPC90 Lawsuit Japan that kicks any new Gibson's ass and so does this CD/P. The Epi is a Gibson with epi's logo so the quality is the same as Gibson made in that era. This Edwards is top of the line, paint is Wonderfull, binding is flawless and top notch electronics and pickups (Seymour Duncans). Gibsons are overrated and have been for years, I'd only buy Gibson if they are made until the early 2000's, after that I'd stick to my money and spend less on way better brands, especially these Japanese brands that are well worth the price and cost way less than a Gibson. I think they are all Made In Japan right? This one is a Domestic Only model, meaning is only sold on Japan which is why I bought it on sight, lovely guitar, top quality!

Glauber Joe I'm watching one right now. Just seems a bit risky, say there was a fault then the return costs to Japan? I'm not quite as trusting as I used to be on eBay

Alf Tupper I guess it is risky, keep an eye on reverb sometimes a used one pops up Im sure cuz if one made it all the way here, it should be easier to get there! Good luck and let us know!

For over a decade Edwards are made in China (the woodwork, assembling, painting) the they get sent to Japan for the final adjustments. Great guitars for the price. Real steal if you get used one for $400-600
