The LTD MSV-1 is the Signature Series guitar for Mike Schleibaum, founding member of Washington, DC-based melodic death metal band Darkest Hour. Mike tells you about his favorite features of the MSV-1, and does a playthrough of "Demon(s)" from the band's 2007 album Deliver Us. Based on the ESP Arrow shape, this outstanding guitar in Olympic White finish offers neck-thru-body construction, 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets, block inlays, Grover tuners, a Floyd Rose 1000 bridge, and a single EMG JH (James Hetfield signature) active pickup.

I love Mike....watching him be the godfather of the band, starting rhythm and learning all the lead shit when kris left, he can play like every song lead or rhythm

@Spinetap ehhh I used to be a huge fan of Kris Norris and even got his solo stuff but nah Mike stepped up there too along with help from the band, like I loved the originals but Travis orbin is a composer and nico being an original fan and heavily influenced by Kris will make for some decent music ...gotta say though I hate hearing Kris complain and sell his stuff on Instagram...very sad

I like Mike, he seems like a really cool and down to earth dude, not to mention one hell of a talented guitarist. But indeed, he has impeccable taste in instruments and I absolutely love the Arrows myself having just acquired one.

24 frets on 24.75 scale that is definitely different.

Eclipses have 24 frets and 24.75" scale length so they aren't uncommon, but it is for the Arrow shape.

Since when is 24,75 inch scale lenght unique? Found the sweet spot? I'm pretty sure it was "wanna 25,5 or 24,75?" and no shorter scale was considered at all.

dam here i thought this guitar would be a hit like literally 0 videos of anyone that bought it actually playing it the most u will find is maybe 2 people showcasing it but not actually playing it here i wanted to see what people thought about it that have bought it and even sweetater has had the same 4 models in stock for a wile -.- been waiting for people to buy them so they can get more in stock so i can grab one since the one on their right now had bad fret boards from the pics ive seen and want one with a better one

Only thing that sucks about the James Hetfield pickups is they are so high output you have to change the settings on ur amp to compensate

I bought one months ago… the workmanship was terrible and I sent it back. Had a hard time getting my refund, what a fkn hassle

The factory in Korea, I think it's WMI - where guitar company's like ESP, PRS, Jackson mass produce lower priced guitars - probably anything under $2000 has been having major manufacturing and QC issues not to mention the shipping industry is in the toilet. I ordered a ltd deluxe 7 from SW in Sept 2020 and waited through 3 &1/2 months of excuses of why the guitar I'd pre payed for still didn't even have an ETA on anything. In the end, six days before Christmas after scouring the country out of frustration - yatzi in Sam Ash's warehouse, two of them, built and shipped literally right before the pandemic hit. I couldn't ask for more out of a guitar, besides a small gouge on the body fret it was totally mint. Plays like a dream, sounds amazing. Plus since it was Xmas, SA hooked it up - $1,099 knocked down to $925 shipped.. Those few months waiting though, ughhh.. Sorry you got a lemon dude, that sucks..
