Some Espadas had emotional deaths.Grimmjow just wanted to survive and be the best,Nnoitora doesn't like to be considered weak,Halibel wished to become strong so she doesn't need to sacrifice her comrades,Stark joined the Espadas because he was afraid to be alone and Ulquiorra was interested to find more things about humans and their hearts,because of Orihime

I love how Tite Kubo uses a lot of Spanish words in Bleach, how the Espadas ( Swords in english) or the names of their releases, that are all in Spanish

That's what I love about it two. I like when animes are pulling from secular aspects. The espadas and chad pull from the Spanish language. The dude with the glasses and energy bow and arrows, pulled from the German language. Naruto and sequels had a lot of Japanese mythology mixed in there content. And Digimon had a lot of Christianity and some Buddhism in there content.

Not really...Espada were never truly a match for the captains. They never really pushed Gotei 13 to their limits. Byakuya fodderized one. Unohana never even fought, she could own Stark and Harribel in a 2v1 lol. Shunsui didn't even use half of his power....Kenpachi was never really challenged as well. Mayuri rekt Szayel so hard it's not even funny..... Espada never stood a chance when you look back at it. They would have gotten slaughtered if Gotei 13 didn't fuck around and made a full onserious team of all captains there on the front lines. Heck, Yammamoto can just kill all espada in a 10 vs 1 without much effort. The only real epsada threats are Barragan, who get simply overwhelmed by Yammamoto (the difference in reiatsu is way too vast for hax to win), and Ulquiorra Secunda Etapa, and im pretty confident that Kyoraku can handle Ulquiorra comfortably.

this shit happens all the time , look for example in akatsuki , the mighty akatsuki were defeated like flies , why? cause plot armor? the mighty espada same , and any other animes big organizations drop like flies, thats it , always main characters and their friends wins , they will always overpoew the antagonist, i hope there will be one day an anime "without main characaters" or a spin off with akatsuki or espada anime ;(, well the only anime i found with no plot armor is Basilisk you should try it , awesome

Espada with their boss Aizen is so wasted af.. they have potential to not just beat but would've kill the captains but ending to be wiped out. Not like Akatsuki in Naruto that have killed many important shinobi such as Asuma, some Jinchuriki and the legendary sannin Jiraiya.

All the Esapada were put at a disadvantage: Zomneri was matched up against the worst possible captain he could have gone against byakuya counters his power. Grimjow fought ulqiorra before ichigo which must have taken a little gnoritora fought against Neleil before kenpachi ulqiorra fought a overpowered form of ichigo never used in the series again stark was against multiple opponents as was the other top 2 Espada. Yami the most i mobile espada fought many fast strong shinigami Granz fought against a captain who countered him and the 9th espada was so immobile when he transformed against Rukia who was decently fast and could freeze him and make him even slower.

does anybody else wish that more espada survived the arc? i feel like most werent really evil, just following orders. i mean look at it like this. grim and Halibel did live on but here are some words for a few others.. Starrk: the guys death was sad. wasnt evil at all, just lonely for the most part. could of survived and joined up with halibel in the highrule of hueco mundo. Ulquiorra: the guys death was even sadder. wasnt evil, just didn't understand human mortality and finally when he started to understand he died. if he survived he could of also joined up with starrk and hailibel. Szayel Apporo Grantz: eh, this guy was pretty messed up but still i loved his rivalry with mayuri, would of liked to see how the rivalry progressed if flushed out. barragan: for the king of hollows he's pretty chill. wasnt really evil, arrogant and has a god complex but still not evil to me. infact he hated aizen ( the main villian of that time) just as much as the good guys did. if he survived somehow instead of halibel taking over he could of stayed king, the rest of the surviving espada going under his rule in hueco mundo, i could see him helping out soul reapers out in the quincy war, providing a army of hollows and the remaining espada to assist, ( the enemy of thy enemy is thy friend). it would of been awesome if the remaining espada kept training during that time and all somehow learned a second release to fight up with the sternritters, ( yes for the ulqiorra fans, ulquiorra can learn a third release lol). so basically i would of liked it if 6 of the 10 survived.
