Kirk's gonna be here for 2024,2025,n 2026 if he's playing well phenix a$$ is gonna ride that bench for minimum of 3 yrs as long as he's healthy n playing well period. If yall recall , they said they're taking a page from green bays book with Jordan Love . Some players just need a little longer developing n it's Always worked out well for GB Packers. Don't get me wrong now, I'm not saying Michael Penix Jr's gonna take 3-5 yrs to develop. But that's exactly what's gonna happen.minimum of 3 years as long as Kirk's healthy n playing well. That way when we do decide to move on from Kirk Cousins, hopefully we'll have a Lombardi trophy 🏆 to add to those 2 NFC Championship trophies that would then be 3 n 1 Lombardi. Then we can bid Kirk farewell n enter in the Michael Penix Era n try n get another Lombardi under Penix Jr maybe more than 1 under him if he learns well n soaks up info like a sponge. I think he's gonna be great don't get me wrong, I just think he needs to develop n profect his art of short passes as well as intermiate n long the total package n his field lighting it up n the sky is the limit for this organization n we will have our own version of Patrick Maholmes n rise up

He doesn't know what the future holds. I can't unequivocally say when Michael Penix will get his shot or when Kirk Cousins moves on from the Falcons.

It’ll be min to max 2 years(cause that’s where all the Guaranteed money is). Falcons are NOT eating that cap hit. It would be dumb that god forbid Cousins goes down and Penix comes in and plays better than him. I don’t want fans clamoring for him next year even if he’s ready cause a 65 mil dead cap hit with no CB2 or even your CB1 locked up, no true edge unless one of our edges step up.
