This was a week of miracles for Kamilla. Here’s the sequence: 1) Her Mother and Sister were not allowed to board a plane from Brazil to the United States. They had never watched Kamilla play in person in America; 2) Coach Dawn Staley reached out to Congressman Jim Clyburn of South Carolina regarding the situation. Rep. Clyburn is also President Biden’s closest Congressional Member; 3) Visas were granted to Kamilla’s Family to visit the United States; 4) Coach Staley and the Athletic Department of the University of South Carolina set up a surprised meeting, on campus, between Kamilla, her Mother and Sister. We can imagine, or watched the video, of that emotionally charged moment!; 5) While seated in court side VIP seats, Kamilla’s Mother and Sister witnessed her drained a miracle 3-point shot from top of the key that not only won the game and stunned Tennessee that they lost the game, but also electrified all in attendance- shocked or elated-and every Viewer who globally watched this game! Well done and a thousand Thank You’s for the life- long memory, Kamilla!❤️

Look closely at 2:06 Coach Dawn told her exactly where to stand, and then you can see her call her attention again and told her “SHOOT IT!” She drew up and great play… she knew who would be open and trusted her player and told her to shoot it even though she isn’t a 3 point shooter! ❤️👏🏾 wow

The assistant coach was yelling to guard the inbound pass, but the head coach pulled her back. No defense on the inbound or the player. Kamilla is an All American, guard her!!Give it up for women’s basketball. They go hard!!!

@@l9ikjam It's not that she's not a good three point shooter. She actually works hard on that, and she has a pretty good midrange. It's just that that isn't her part of the game normally. As soon as she took the inbound, they should have been all up in her grill because 1.1 seconds was never going to be enough time to inbound, pass and shoot. She was the shooter - you defend the shooter -period. That was a mental breakdown on their part to not defend, and Kellie Harper even said so in her post game.

They fired the coach and they should have. The free throws were one thing, but the utter lack of defense was another. That was the worst coaching that could have possibly happened. Those fans should have been celebrating a win, they never expected their own coach to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. She laid out the red carpet for South Carolina.

The assistant coach told the head coach to put pressure on the ball but the coach ignored her so then the assistant told the player to guard the ball and the player went to guard the inbound but then the head coach waved the player off and told her to sag so the player backed off and sagged. Bet coach regrets not listening to her assistant. She should apologize.

I thought she waited too long to call a timeout. She waited until they were within 2 and completely changed her defensive scheme for Rickea in the 2nd half. Ashlynn Watkins would’ve been a better man to man match up for Rickea than Breezy IMO. I’m so happy they got the dub though.
