Mayweather never lost focus on his craft, no vices, you can just tell dude really loves everything about Boxing. He fought so many high level fighters with different styles and still came up on top. His defense is #1 in boxing history in my opinion, and his punch selection is top tier. Crazy to think about all the fighters they threw at him... 100% he earned his legacy. And he's still fighting for fun.

Da GOAT there's video proof of Freddie Roach (when he and manny were still on good terms) saying manny turned down a fight with mayweather back in 2008. Pacquiao has been accused of using steroids for many years even before floyd said it. No man can start off as a flyweight and walk through punches of a welterweight like that cmon now that should be a dead giveaway. And as for u saying marquez got lucky shows that you dont know shit about boxing. Go to a boxing gym and learn
@063lots9
@063lots9 5 жыл бұрын
Da GOAT pacquaio was winning by one point and what does him winning the fight on the scorecards have to with Marquez landing a "lucky punch"? Literally no correlation at all. This is boxing, one punch can end it all as it did in the fight and it was a beautifully timed counter.

If you listen to Floyd's arguments, you'll realize how business savvy he and his team are and were. Floyd was never ducking or dodging anyone. He was waiting for the right season for certain fights to materialize. He was asked why he didn't fight Shane Mosely before Marquez and the answer was simple. Marquez had an entire country behind him.

BTW did u guys noticed Floyd choked a lot of time whenever he was asked about fighting Pacquiao... All I see Floyd was exposed on this interview, He clearly don't want to fight Pacquiao. my brother collects the ad posters for the fights and hangs them around his garage. They typically feature the picture of 4 fighters, the 2 in the main event, and the 2 headlining the undercard. When I look at the picture of some of the people on these fight posters, Floyd has beaten 2-3 of them. lol.

I think Brian introduced him as the 'former Pound for Pound world number 1' on purpose to rile up Floyd LOL.

there will never be another Floyd. Personality wise, skill wise, business wise. he generated all this ppv numbers just by outboxing people, imagine if his hands didn't go bad and he was still knocking people out.

Brian Kenny actually handled this interview pretty well. He took a few on the chin but also made the interview a lot more interesting by playing devil’s advocate.

I feel like you’re not looking at it from a boxer’s perspective. His tone type of questions were a lil condescending especially with the way he talked abt pacquio

@@dawizrdd8387 perhaps, but you also have to consider that right out the gate Floyd was insulting his boxing intelligence and claiming he knows nothing about it for merely mentioning that he had retired.
