I just sent this to “my” son. Asked him to please drive carefully on his way home. I can’t tell you how this story broke and touched my heart. Very few things can bring a father and son closer than playing catch. For life!

Wonderful story about the strength of love. I ordered books for my people (male and females) who played catch. My hope is they read the book, write another persons name in it and pass it to them. Keep the love alive.

My dad sent me this to me, and I had no idea what it was about. I just recently had rotator cuff surgery from a pitching incident, and I have definitely taken all of the times I’ve played catch with my dad for granted. This is a great story, and very emotional. Ethan is looking down on his dad from heaven and is very proud of him.

Such a beautiful amazing story. A parents worst nightmare that I can’t even imagine. God Bless Ethan’s friends and family and his amazing Dad (Dan) for somehow pushing through this nightmare. Healing himself and others through the beautiful game of baseball by simply having a catch. Zero doubt in my mind Ethan and his Dad will have that Field of Dreams “Wanna have a catch” moment one perfect day! God Bless

I love this 💝🤩. I am not trying to take anything from him I'd play catch with him any day. Myself I believe baseball saved me. My father was murdered 2014 years still no solution so yes I am inspired by the story. He was big Phillies fan. Minor league pitcher and I want to be a major league pitcher. He coached me
