find you a partner who loves you like Orlovsky loves Matt Stafford. Honestly tho, as a Detroiter, I can say what all Detroiters already knew: Stafford is a star, and he really blossomed as a decision maker and executor on the field after Megatron's retirement, once he no longer had Megatron as a safety blanket to lean on. learned how to run a balanced attack, placed greater importance on WRs being able to do their jobs well and run good routes (Golden Tate, Cooper Kupp), as opposed to just throwing up a prayer and having CJ81 bail you out with his godly leaping ability. Stafford was just unlucky to play with zero run game (except for those brief blips provided by Jahvid best and reggis bush/joique bell) and a defense that hardly ever played complementary football. when stafford came on with 40 seconds and 1 timeout, the whole of Michigan knew he had too much time on his hands. sad that the pick the Rams owe the Lions has lost a little bit of value, but absolutely stoked and happy for Stafford. way overdue that the man gets his shine.

Matthew Stafford couldn't be just some scrub if the Rams didn't trade 2 first rounders to your Lions. You guys might fill a lot of holes over the next 2 years and build something over there. If I was your GM, I'd wait till 2023 to draft a QB because that's going to be a strong class.
@shashanksubramaniam1400
@shashanksubramaniam1400 2 жыл бұрын
@@jlh4jc i agree! lots of uncertainty with the QBs in this class. no winners a la joe burrow, and no spectacular talents rated as high as trevor lawrence/justin herbert. plus, goff, despite battling through injuries, was top 5 in the league in QBR over the last quarter of the season. that too, with the tsunami of injuries the team was hindered by. the offense showed enough progress over the last 6 games of the season that they've earned the right to run it back with Goff for another year, hopefully with more guys fully healthy. maybe draft a developmental QB somewhere in round 3? malik willis intrigues me if he falls to round 2, but honestly we need to upgrade the surrounding talent on both sides of the field so i'd much rather that we target DE, LB, WR, and S with our top 4 picks, preferably after we've made a couple of big signings in free agency.

Matthew Stanford has the makings of an elite qb tbh. His rookie season he had the most completions and I believe on his second year he had 45 td passes in a season. And had less turn overs. Those are good qualities to take in the post season. I think rams offense just showcased how good Stanford was.

It’s bitter sweet seeing Stafford win with another team, but you can’t be nothing but happy for him. He’s done a lot in Detroit. What he did at the end of the game he did the same thing here multiple times. Also he’s responsible for 2 Receivers having the most receiving yards in a single season. He finally has a good team behind him as said.

That comeback had nothing to do with Stafford SAS it had to do with them having FOUR fumbles in a 27 min period. “The GOAT did his job” ummmmm Brady didn’t play very well at all aside from 50 yard TD to Evan’s. 72 QB rating is bad, 55.6% bad, 2 turnovers bad. Had they won the game it would of been bc 4 fumbles Stafford and Brady had nothing to do with + a missed 47 yard kick by their pro bowl kicker who had been 28/29 on kicks under 50 yards coming into the game!
