The Stanford Cardinal complete the largest comeback in school history by defeating the Colorado Buffaloes, 46-43, in double overtime. Shedeur Sanders threw for 400 YDS, 5 TD & 1 INT as Coach Prime’s squad jumped out to a 29-0 lead in the first half. Stanford WR Elic Ayomanor made 13 REC for 294 YDS & 3 TD in the win.

How? Did the coaches cause Sander’s pass to wide open receiver to be high? Sure, the Buff’s started blazing fast and then had some serious letdowns. Was that coached? In the end, the Buffs were very close to icing that game away. Bama nearly did the exact same thing with the Arkansas game. Are you gonna say Saban’s not a good coach? Really?
@SeaMonkey137
@SeaMonkey137 8 ай бұрын
@@ytharper66 You can't lay a 29-point third-quarter comeback on one wayward pass (or even three). In addition to adjustments it was discipline and focus, and that's on the coaches. I don't think he's saying Sanders is a bad coach. He's just saying Sanders didn't get the job done. The Cardinal just hit them in the mouth and took it from them.

They always say in football that "second half adjustments" win football games. This happened in this game. BUT it also seemed that the Colorado team in general just made too many mistakes, some of them "unforced errors". Example involves 2 in one play, the Standford interception in the end zone. First, if you watch it again, TWO Colorado players run into each other right at the goal line, and then Sanders threw an ill-advised pass, across the field, off his back leg, into coverage....that hardly ever works.

You actually right but 2 has to stop reading his press clippings. That interception was him being arrogant and playing hero ball. That loss is 90% on coaching and 10% #2. They have use that running game. 29-0. You literally just experienced the same thing with USC but was on the other end. Bad call playing Travis like he hasn’t missed 4 weeks of ball. He should probably been just a receiver today and stop tearing 1 down and let him figure it out on the field. It’s like he waits for him to mess up to take him out. Yea majority of this is on coaching especially the OC. You have all these backs and you can take the air out the ball🤷🏾. I literally went to sleep and just woke up think I’m about to see a 45-20 score CU wins🤦🏽‍♂️😂. Yea Sean Lewis is not the guy. The DC gave you 0 for 2 quarters. He did his job🤷🏾.

Theyre currently ranked in the 70s in recruiting and the only significant win he's really been credited with is Hunter. Coach Primetime in the postgame interview spoke like the extremely disappointing Colorado fans before taking any questions. Bottom line he was out coached and the team out played. These are the type of extremely embarrassing moments for a coach and a team who become complacent during a game with an enormous lead.

I’m so sad the PAC is disbanding, it’s what has made west coast football so much fun. Maybe they don’t dominate with titles like the SEC does but the games are way more fun and the conference itself has a lot more parity. Look at the SEC, they have one or two good teams each year that steam roll everyone else save for one magical win here or there. It’s just not going to be the same. We can thank the pac commissioner for royalty screwing it all up. They had the chance to send a team every single year to the playoffs and receive $30 million a year for each school from espn alone and he turned it down like a true mouth breather.

He is nothing like Michael Crabtree. He's just an average wide receiver who looked great because Colorado's defensive backs are horrendous. On the one hand, I'm disappointed that he broke Troy Walters' school record for receiving yards in a game because Walters was probably the best WR in Stanford history, but I don't mind that he did break it because I was pulling for the comeback. Colorado got exposed, and Deion should be on the hot seat now. Horrendous coaching job
