It’s really sad to see allthe Bama fans struggling to swallow defeat. LSU actually dominated the game nearly all the way up until mid third quarter. There were injuries on both teams but here we are with all the excuses.

don’t even begin with “injuries” I was at the game, every single injury except maybe 2 or 3 were faked. there was over 10 faked injuries. Yes LSU played amazing and we lost, we can accept that. But don’t start with the injuries. those were all faked just to slow down our offense.

Alabama turned the ball over which gave away a couple of possessions , other than that both defenses are terrible. Alabama could not stop LSU and in the second half when Alabama did not turn the balk over LSU could not stop Alabama to save their life, the difference was the turnovers gave LSU to big a lead. If Alabama doesn't turn it over I believe Alabama would have won this going away.

If I were a LSU fan I wouldn’t want a rematch solely for the fear of a repeat of 2011. Beating Bama in the regular season only to get rolled in the NC in New Orleans. That had to be soul crushing.

Its going to be much worse this year. Bama will rip their soul right out of their body. The ncaa will then implement the expansion to an 8 team playoff...just like the Bama win in 11 was the main reason they implemented the 4 team playoff system. Bama on the outside looking in at #5 may be what gets it to 8 teams also... Sit back and watch.

To all you Bama fans... if you had won that game by 5 points would you want to see LSU again on a neutral field? That’s what I thought . Should not have to take down a top 5 team TWICE to advance to NC. If Bama makes it in ( if Sabans checks cash this time ) then I would be OK with it. Alabama doesn’t DESERVE to make it, and ESPN is trying really hard to change the national narrative in an attempt to squeeze them in. I am an LSU fan and yes.... I WANT the rematch. This is not 2011 and Alabama (this season) does NOT have the personnel to keep Burrow and company from scoring 40+. I appreciate Ryan Clark but c'mon man! Have some faith in your former team and believe that coach O will have this team ready to perform even BETTER the second time around. LSU will secure a double digit win if these two teams meet again this season.

They out played us in the first half by a lot but the second half was all Bama. Nick saban had good adjustments. That offense won't do that to bama in a rematch.

Idk. This feels eerily similar to the 2011 season. LSU marches into Ttown and narrowly wins and a pissed off Alabama team rolls them for the Natty. It could go either way but if I were an LSU fan, I wouldn’t want a rematch in fear of a 2011 repeat. It’s gotta be humiliating.

You know, as an Alabama fan and alum, I "had" a lot of respect for LSU until they beat us and started bragging about it. Alabama football players never say the things these clowns have been saying since they beat us. Thanks for the Doom but 15-0 first and only SEC team to do that 2nd team overall other one being Clemson when they smashed y’all. Best offense receivers and QB in football history and it ain’t even close, best team ever assembled in football history 7 wins against top 10 opponents which is a NCAA record. A big advantage having a bye not playing in the Conference Championship. Bama would not have the wear and tear of another vicious game.

8 team playoff. 5 conference champs and 3 at large bids do away with divisions in conferences and play a round robin schedule where the previous conference champ plays the hardest conference schedule and 2nd place plays 2nd hardest and then on and could keep rivalry games also. And top 2 teams in conference play at the end if regular season in the conference championship. And the first round of the playoff are home games for top four and then it goes to how it is now for top 4.

The problems with round robins is first of all, you don't really know who the best conference is gonna be at the start of the year, second, you'd have somebody like Oregon traveling all the way to Florida and Louisiana every other week and you can't do that

@@MultiKool13 the round robin is in conference play only. 1st place team from the year before has the hardest conference schedule on papper and 2nd place has second hardest and so on. its the only true way i see to make a conference championships be a automatic bid because with divisions u can have a 12-0 team lose to a 8-4 and you have a 11-1 team thats just setting their because they lost 1 division game and should really be playing the 12-0 team i dont think the 8-4 team should have a automatic qualifier. It would kinda be like if the big 12 added 2 teams but kept their conference championship format where the best two teams play.
