The kid is burnt orange thru and thru. This program is taking on his personality, no flash or thrills just hard nose discipline and physical. They will line up and out work you. I think Texas is going to be fun to watch the next few years.

I’m a huge Georgia fan in fact I was at the sugar bowl this year when Texas played Georgia. I was mad that we lost but I’m happy that Sam Ehlinger accomplished something special. Sugar Bowl MVP.

I went to high school with sam and he was an awesome guy. he was a freaking beast at Westlake. every Friday night football game, he would just lead us to victory every time. he's an awesome guy. he gets so much crap from the haters when he looses against OU or another team but people don't know how dedicated sam is

Lost money on Texas first game of the season and judged this guy harshly. Feel like a dip shit now because he has turned that program around and now know this small part of his story I got nothing but respect and am rooting for him against anyone except Bama. Kid is the toughest QB I’ve seen since Tebow. Hookem Horns! I will be watching all his games. Unless Bama is on!

I miss living in Austin and being a Longhorns season ticket holder for the 2008 season. Sam Ehlinger is a stud and the way he plays the game with his intensity makes me proud to be a die hard fan again despite there downfall. I hope that Cameron Rising will follow in his footsteps and take the reigns to a national championship game when Ehlinger leaves for the draft.
