Really good perspectives all around. Xavi needs to have the wisdom to only play Lamine Yamal in about 40 games, mainly as a super sub. Don’t depend on him week in and week out like they did with Pedri and Ansu Fati.

They didn’t mention this but within the club Lamal’s rise & poise for his age has been known for awhile. Even with Xavi, he remarked on how unprecedented it is for young players like Gavi & Lamal to perform so fearlessly & flawlessly lacking experience. We’ve never seen anything like this, and this is surely going to have an influence on Masia players that follow

We know what they are doing like they did with Ansu, Arthur and so many other Barca kids.. ESPN put pressure and hype on them so when something doesn't go to plan in the careers of the kids, it makes it seem they never lived up to their potential or sort when really what they needed was time BACK OFF!!

There's a criminal running la liga called Javier Tebas. The president of LA liga was asked what does Barcelona have to do to get themselves out of this situation. And that fraud said "sell one of those youth products that you didn't pay anything for" So much for protecting La Liga and their talent. That man needs to be removed from that post. Barcelona have players higher salaries and a statement like that should have never left his lips. But he's a self proclaimed Madridista. Which means none of what he's saying or doing is coming from a good place or one that has Barcelona or la liga at heart. From the time he said those words, everyone should recognize that. yup. absolutely shocking how they completely abandoned their Youth development model of the 2000s (think Xavi, Iniesta, Puyol, Pique, Fabregas, Alba, Messi, Thiago, Bojan) just to start buying up overpriced players.
