This Madrid run to the final echoes Chelsea's 2012 run to victory in Munich. Chelsea were second best against Napoli, Barcelona and Bayern but still managed to win that year. If I were Liverpool, I wouldn't get too confident. The best team doesn't always carry the day in football (especially in one-off cup games), otherwise football would be a total borefest.
