You can't listen to Richarlison and not feel deep sympathy for him. He has always appeared to me to be someone who feels things deeply, but who buries his empathy under scowls amd seriousness. I have a lot of admiration for the way he has gotten help especially when faced with barriers in his family life and society as a while.

True, but in his case it wasn't just the wc loss. On top of that there were people in his house that had broken his trust and an injury that made him play poorly. So all that stacked was too much.

Jurgën Klinsmann is right... BRAZIL had the best squad at the World Cup but failed. That defeat hit me hard...Had they had an average team similar to that of 2014 for example, that would've been another matter that would've just needed a simple brushing off

Sad to see him cry. I think players struggling with mental health problems should avoid social media. Social media will increase your health issues. There are lots of people on the Internet who just criticise and hate players for no reason. Sometimes, because of jealousy. They are humans and young men. We have to at least criticise with consideration that they are just young people. As an Arsenal fan, i was so upset with the way some of our fans were criticising Kai Havertz. Sometimes, this criticism makes the players get worse.

Respect to Richarlison. Sounds like he had a really tough time after that World Cup. It's too bad because he gave us one of the most memorable World Cup moments in years with that bicycle kick. For me, that goal is iconic, right up there with Robin van Persie's header in 2014. I hope he's finding his joy again. As an American, I'm looking forward to inviting Richarlison and the rest of South America to Copa America in the USA this summer.

Listening to this, it just shows how much mental strength Messi and CR7 has being the best players in the world who are expected to carry their teams to the top and anything else would be failure. Seeing Messi being so close to the World Cup and losing by mere margins, constantly being compared to Maradona by his own people despite being better than Maradona in all aspects of the sport except World Cup victory, it just goes to show that some of these athletes not only have gift for the sport, but also a gift in dealing with these pressures that would break normal people in seconds. Seeing Messi's family and how they support him, it's not surprising that he dealt with it as well as he did with such a family dynamic.

The thing his, Brazil its a COUNTRY dat its acostumate to win, so they dont win since 2002, and they dont have a number 9 .. so they we're so mad at him after the world cup. Can u imagine 220 million ppl talk u down, saying u aren't worth of a world cup, that u can not score a "tap in". That's davastating 4 a player that came from nothing, and then he is in the PL but at the same time everyone in Brazil hates you. That's sad.. 🇵🇹🇧🇷 Richardson vamos..
