I’m always excited for Valentina’s fights! At the same time nervous. I’ve been a Fan of Val since 2005 when she was living & competing in Perú. Same here I always get the card every time she fights I haven’t missed any of her fights. Hopefully she gets a W and breaks her record defending her championship belt

Do you remember Adesanya vs. Blachowicz or Usman vs. Covington rematch ?????? Similar situations with similar outcomes. The physically larger fighter didn’t finish the smaller fighter. That’s what should happen if larger fighter has a better skill set.

It speaks a lot to how dangerous a person really is when they come across as an Angel and so sweet and timid under these circumstances. People need to recognize that for Mexicans respect is above all else , Thier calmness and focus is deadly , don't sleep on Mexican fighters just cause they are respectful don't mean that there timid or weak,it's the calm before the storm.

And there lies the issue with her this time. She trained with women in her weight class. Alexa’s camp she wrestled with bigger men and women and I’m sure Irene Aldana bantam weight helped her train as well. Bigger fighter. Valentina forgot that she use to fight bigger women. She got to comfortable. Very sad for her but happy Mexico took her belt.

Even if it’s the wrong opinion.😜 If you look at the level of WMMA fighters Valentina has fought and beat in the UFC comparied to who Blanchfield has fought, there is no comparison. Erin is one dimensional and her stand up is the weakest part of her skill set. It looks slow and awkward. At Erin’s stage of development, she won’t be able to deal with Valentina’s speed and precision striking and kicks. IMO, she knocks her out in RD2…
