All these people claiming the steelers are going to switch to fields half way thru the season are idiots. That would be so incredibly dumb. Steelers have a historically difficult second half of the schedule. Why would they Start Russ for the easy part of the schedule than put Fields in for the gauntlet. Either Russ loses the job super early or Russ plays the whole season.

I think if the Steelers are trying to win right now take advantage Of having Russ and start him. I know this team and situation and even coach is way different this team around for Fields as it was in Chicago With The Bears But let Fields Learn And develop behind Russ, I mean what not better mentor then a future first ballot hall of fame Super Bowl winning qb. Justin Fields has never ever had a successful veteran qb In the QB Room with him Like Wilson. Justin Fields Needs time for growth especially needs to work on his consistency as a passer. Which Russ already Has, and If the Steelers do make it to the postseason, which they prob will, Russ will be 100% ready to thrive under pressure and at least walk out of there with 1 playoff win this coming season.

The media doesn’t want Russ to be a starter because they want to write him out the HOF. Their worse nightmare is Russ plays well enough to make them look foolish for saying he’s washed and well enough to secure another 2-3 years as a starter to solidify his HOF credentials permanently

All are replaced very EASILY! Geno Stone cant cover! His int's were a result of the front 7 and tight coverage on the outside! any TE or RB can easily beat Geno Stone. He literally was just in the right place at the right time for most of those int's... PQ was NOTHING before Roquan and Trent Simson will be BETTER, he is bigger, stronger and maybe faster!... Ummm Zach Orr as DC was a no brainer! He was the MOTIVATIOR of the defense even when MM was there! The players LOVE Zach Orr!!!!!! Ravens know EXACTLY what they are doing! And as long as #8 is on the fileld, we always have a shot at a title!!! FACTS! (We will miss Clowney though, great on and off the field)

Where was all the media love for Fields when they knew the Bears was giving up on him and was gonna trade him after last season ? Wilson was top 5 in the AFC in td passes last season and that's even with him sitting the last 2 gms for the injury clause in his contract. How bad were the other qbs then ? In Atlanta after Smith stronger to get the quarterback position. He chose to keep Matt Ryan because he thought he could fix him. He passed on Lamar Jackson and chose to run with Mariota and Ridder. One quit doing the season the others on another team this year. All three of the quarterbacks got worse under Arthur

Fields can be good if you fit ur offense around him. He'll never be a Joe Burrow or Mahomes, but could be like a lesser Josh Allen or Lamar Jackson.

Lamar would have blown them out if he had the Bills gameplan where they actually ran the ball unlike the Ravens who only had 6 rush attempts. Josh Allen gotta prove he can actually do something without Diggs for a full season

@@themacaronichronicles717 You do realize the Bills rushed for 182 yards as a team vs the Chiefs right? Even excluding Josh Allen’s carries they had 25 carries by RBs for well over 100 yards. That’s committing to the run far more than 6 rush attempts for Ravens. And it was only 10 designed runs all game combined including Lamar. But don’t let facts get in the way of a good narrative

I mean I can’t say I fully disagree with the negatives you stated but to say he can’t play at all is overkill 💀 I’m not one to say that everything was on the O-line/coaching but if you watched the games you know a lot of inconsistency is due to them. He’s shown improvement since his first season but it seemed stalled in the first half of 2023 due to the play calling that didn’t match his skillset. He’s shown flashes of greatness at times. I don’t think someone who can’t play at all would have teams terrified of his speed and game planning for his unique ability. I don’t think someone who can’t play at all would break the record for most rushing yds in a regular season game by a QB and almost break Lamar Jackson’s record for most in a season if it wasn’t for him missing several games with injury. A person who can’t play at all wouldn’t have back to back 4TD 300+ passing YD games. He really only had 1 or 2 bad games since week 3 this past season and at least 4 great games
