Great interview, probably one of my favorites ever on the show. Falcons fan, but listening to his story, compassion for the game, and leadership just makes you want to cheer for his team. Honestly, I could have listened to them talk for another 30 minutes.

Pat understands the credibility issues among athletes. Lynch is the real deal. Not perfect but some great decisions. He’s also assembled a brilliant crew of teaching coaches. Ditto Shanahan, but Lynch was HOF as a player. Players know to listen

Best GM in the NFL for the last 5 years as far as finding late round Gems and changing the Culture around from being a sorry team to a perennial championship contender... Niners go unlucky with injury bug, losing Greenlaw(replacement gives up wide open td next drive) and OL Feliciano getting hurt and Burford coming in allowing 2 UNBLOCKED Chris Jones hurries. Also helps that Chiefs Oline were able to hold zbosa/Hargrave with literal bear hugs/tackles and never be flagged once.

@spoonsz where did I blame loss on non calls? It also HELPS after naming multiple other things. Regardless, facts are facts, niners were called twice with insanely less egregious "holds". Two 4th down tackles/hugs to allow mahomes to scramble, one the game winning td in ot. Cheifs top 5 being called for holds, yet in 13 quarters in SB, never been called once. Overall, it was one of the best SB's in history, but it doesn't mean there weren't issues. Also, find it funny about "crying," like how mahomes, all of kc fans and players for the WR being OBVIOUSLY over the line of scrimmage and lose because of it LOL.

As a Niners fan Lynch/Shanahan are a god send! He picked up the ashes in the wake of the Harbaugh/Baalke debacle and built the team the right way. I mean this dude surrounds himself with great football folks and created his own tree: Saleh, Ryans, Adam Peters are making waves in the league coming from the Niners. I haven't heard of bad word about this guy.

Wasn't sure what to expect when we hired him as a GM, but he has proved himself. Yes, he missed on some top picks, but look at the late round picks. Solid pro bowl players and solid depth. Only thing missing is our 6th. I have faith.

In his first playoff game against the Seahawks Brock Purdy had 3 TD passes. He has a total of 3 TD passes in 5 playoff starts since then. Let’s slow down in terms of putting him on a pedestal as an elite QB. A couple years ago people said the same thing about Jimmy G and look how that’s turned out.
