Bomb Rush Cyberfunk has been an extremely fun game to replay and beat again and again. I’ve almost clocked in 100 hours into the game, so I’m definitely loving it and I’m sure you are too. But, maybe you wanna spice the game a little bit. Add some things to make the game even more fun for you. That’s when modding comes into a play. Much like how my time modding Jet Set Radio Future has enhanced my enjoyment of the game, Bomb Rush Cyberfunk has also done the same by being very mod friendly. The modding community for this game has been very active and there’s been tons of people working on a lot of great mods, especially some gameplay ones. If you’re looking for some gameplay mods to spice up your game, I got a couple of suggestions here to give you the best Bomb Rush Cyberfunk gameplay experience you can get available to you.

The style switch mod might as well be in the main game. If effectively triples the amount of tricks you can chain together

Totally agree, no idea why the devs made switching vehicles so complicated in the base game. The game feels so much better being able to change styles mid-combo, even mid-grind. Glad they finally added the dance pad to the hideout tho

@@RisingSonic17 I get confused on finding taxi/cypher spots too. I’m hoping next patch they implement it. I honestly wonder the same thing as you too. BRC has been so fun playing through otherwise.

Hey, it worked out for Sonic Frontiers and some of the changes it got in their updates. Maybe they'll implement some of these changes in another patch

They supported their previous games for a while and I hope that BRC has been successful enough for them to look at these mods and add them in as official features for people that are playing the console versions.

It could be cool if faux came back but as full robot with his mind being the only thing left of him. That headbutt felix gave him must have fractured his skull and it doesn't help that the moron threw his body away.

There's also the multiplayer mod. Not only can you see other players around in-game, but you can also challenge others to score battles

Yeah. I just didn't mention it here because it doesn't change too much gameplay wise, but it is very cool. Especially if you just wanna hang with friends. I really hope some more improvements are able to be made

Do you have to join another players game? or do people just appear as your progressing through your own game?

@@stupidmarty7339 You join in a server and see other players running around. Like for example it turns the game into an online lobby, pretty much. It's a cool mod because it makes the world of Bomb Rush feel more alive seeing other players skating and hanging out

I think I can get the whole list not being present as a base game feature (because of oversight or just that the team didn't think of it) except from the DayNightCycle mod. That one elevates the vibes in a way I can't even describe and fits the game perfectly. Really makes me wonder if it was even conceptualized but they didn't add it for whatever reason.

The game not having taxi markers is inconvenient but I can understand why the toilets don’t have any and I think it’s more so to make you look for it sorta like a challenge in order to losing the cops

Ehhhh I can't really give an excuse for it. I think that argument work better for the extra collectibles. However for stuff like bathrooms and taxi spots, that definitely needs marker.

been 3 days and i've been having so much fun with the base game, im about to install these, i hope they keep creating mods, i'd like a mod where i can bounce off walls to continue and add to my trick combos, and a mod where we have several sleeping obstacle courses, i enjoyed those

Oh my gosh the speed mod and quick style switch need to be base game features I also would love a mod that allows you to open the map to a full screen on the pause menu, kinda like GTA V

Aye this video is pretty damn good! I didn't realize how many Mods were out there that make's you wanna keep playing. I thought the Multiplayer and Character Mods was the only thing. Would've been awesome if some of these was in the base game.

Main mod I need is something to give the hit effect (when you're fighting) look and feel more effective. Give it more of a POW feel. It's so dull that I can't tell if my attacks are landing or not sometimes.

Tricked achievements: Divide the target amount with the combo multiplayer you currently have. This will tell you how much combo score you need.

Currently there is no alternative for nomixtapeautoplay. The best you can do is grab the Shufflify mod to shuffle your songs.

I hope mod creators eventually make new maps (if possible). I don't see why it wouldn't be possible, there just needs to be more modding tools to help that happen. The game is pretty short if you're not trying to 100% it before the final stage, so this type of mod would let you get a lot more mileage out of the game. I can even see whole story campaigns being made.

I hope someone makes a mod to rewind you back where you fell. There's a lot of high up "point of no return" places in the game that can be annoying to climb back up to when you're just trying to get a certain tag.

Gonna download the Bomb Rush Radio mod Launch the game once, then navigate to your games root directory (it'll be in your steamapps folder in your computer), go into "Bomb Rush Cyberfunk_Data/StreamingAssets/Mods/BombRushRadio/Songs/" which the mod should have created, then drag your songs into that folder. Make sure it's a supported audio format.

It does not work anymore because it's been implemented into the actual game. So, there's no need for it anymore.

I wouldn't say it's like essential yet, but it is still a pretty nice thing to have. It's not something I would keep on by myself, just occasionally if my friends aren't busy. I am waiting on some more improvements on it, but it's 👍

If it's with extra characters, it usually involves taking the files of the mod and putting them in the file where you have your character API file in R2ModManager (That's gonna be located in your main computer file). If it's skins, you'll need UEABA for that to replace skins.

Mixtape autoplay is so annoying. Not just because it stops your song, but because it starts a mixtape from the very beginning, so you always hear the same songs. I've grown to dislike some of the songs because of it.

That is the biggest reason why I hate Big City Life. Because of the mixtape autoplay kept restarting to it and it got very annoying. Which is why God bless the no autoplay mod is here now. So we can avoid that nonsense.

it seems my curious but apparently considerly not the opposite of not not wrong- wait. tired of seeing those police cutsc- wasn't tht half of the gameplay in JSR. watching those...."cutscenes", doing graffiti, and...... suffering. i wouldn't know i never played BRCF
