Too bad the wheels look better than the MK8 itself! The MK7 looks much better than the MK8, inside and out... so of course those wheels are going to look better! IMO, they took away the sleekness of the GTI and R with the MK8. I won't even get into the terrible sliders for controls, and that pathetic gear shift on automatic transmission models. Very disappointed in the MK8. It's rather bulky and boxy-looking compared to previous generations. Then again... ONLY my opinion!

Well there are a few good things such as more power than the previous generation and other VERY minor improvements. But all-in-all I'm still pretty bummed over the major changes except the added power. Hell man, VW could at least give us REAL knobs, buttons and sliders again... but apparently they don't care about the huge amount of potential customers who agree with me on the no-so-great changes they made to the Mk8. They've had more than 2 years to listen to buyers without even a hint of acknowledgement. Oh, wait... they are giving Euro buyers an actual volume knob in 2024 for the Infotainment system... but apparently not the American market! D@mn those Euro-weenie snobs! 😛 We'll see what happens. @@bm_wuratli6883

What are those rims on the second gray golf? And my second question is why does those parts are so expensive? I bought the spoiler and rear mirror covers on aliexpress for like €20-40 wtf? Im still waiting for them I hope I didnt buy a replica :(

Hi all. Any owners of golf 8 can you tell me how is going? I want buy but I', so worry about software. So many people saying about that. Potentially newer has less issues but I don't know. Slowly think about bmw series 1, 118i petrol automatic about 2020. Any suggestions? Tom

The original wheels looked 100% better on the golf R than these. Just my opinion! But the other modifications I really like!

Nothing wrong with Aliexpress most products in the UK come from China then rebranded. As long as they fit nice and look the part at the end of the day a brand name is just a name that's it all comes from the same source. 😂
