Essex firefighters climb Ben Nevis to achieve UK's highest ladder pitch

2 ай бұрын9 hours, 31,469 steps, 1,345 metres climbed, 20-degree heat, 15kg firefighting kit and carrying a ladder! That’s what our firefighters from Halstead Fire Station did this time last week.
Successfully achieving the UK’s highest ladder pitch at the top of Ben Nevis, they have raised over £7,600 for the Fire Firefighters Charity and we couldn’t be more proud ❤️

Just wondering why they had to come to Scotland to do it aren't there any high mountains in England or Wales and if anything went wrong it would be up to a Scottish mountain rescue team to go get them they might be fire fighters but there not experienced in complex mountain rescue are they
