I was in a psychiatric ward in northern Ireland when the PSNI came in fully armed because a quarter gram of weed was found. All UK police forces need serious reform. But the PSNI needs cutting loose entirely. They are already seperate in absolutely every way, including the human rights act already.
@stuartb452511 ай бұрын
They are routinely armed every single one of them. Plus they have the JSA, Justice and Security Act to get our names, addresses etc. Us public in NI are not treated equally as the rest of the UK.

@@Rebelrenaissance Thankfully I don't need to have much dealings with any of them, but with dealing with them previously they were all rubbish tbh. A simple thing like getting stopped in my car, turned into a whole parlava for no reason. I showed him my licence, but didn't have a paper copy of the insurance, for whatever reason he wouldn't accept that excuse. Just a pity I didn't have my phone with me at the time, the strange thing was he checked his system and all details on me and the car were in good order. I just didn't understand his problem, ffs he wanted to know everything about me, my job, my family, he stopped short of asking my shoe size. He must have been bored, suppose I pissed him off a bit because I wouldn't answer his questions except for anything to do with my name and the car. Good job I have watched videos about getting stopped so was more than prepared for the barrage of inane questions. Was only nipping to the local supermarket, I think he did ask what was I going to buy at one point. This was during the coof period, no dealings with any of them since luckily. Nowadays I make sure to carry my phone just in case, even if I just go to the shop at top of my street, you never know.

@@stuartb4525 I can relate. Sad thing is is that there's even less accountability in NI than in England. Despite officers acting against the law and NI's human rights act, nothing is done. I've literally got recordings of PSNI admitting they weren't going to do anything about a bloke who threatened to kill my English 10 Yr old because they are friends with the bloke. The psni activity participated in the abduction of children that I'm still trying to get back. Place needs flattening to be honest.

Really nice, helpful lady at the Council reception. For reference though, GDPR complaints are covered under DPA 2018, should be addressed to the Information Governance Dept (as given on their privacy policy) and are “regulated” by the ICO. Complaints about other council services are under different and more general complaints to public bodies legislation and are “arbitrated” (not regulated) by the Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman. This is a mistake many public bodies make when dealing with data protection issues.

@@mikeel6074 yes section 61 Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994 was updated last year, it is to do with trespass. If someone is asked to leave private property, their right to be there under any legislation is revoked and they should be removed and this guy knows that because he has been removed from private property kicking and screaming. Also section 60, again recently updated gives a police officer in uniform the right to ask someone to remove their face covering, if they refuse they should be arrested.
